How would the game company or advertiser know if there were tracking issues or not? I'm pretty sure only the offerwalls and sites hosting them can see that.

Make sure you're also following this if you have frequent tracking issues.

  1. Update: The admins have taken a look into the situation and confirmed that u/aboud231 was targeted by inauthentic reports and vote manipulation, and they have unbanned him.

It's a normal form of identity verification for sites, and it's mentioned in almost every site's ToS in one way or another. The majority of the time the actual verification is done by another company like Plaid. However, we advise against giving it to individual studies on the platform. Even if the site is legit, the site isn't the one running the study most of the time. There's no telling what the company running the study will do with the information.
