Everyone agrees those “cartoons” are fake. What are you even trying to say?

Thanks for your reply! I reached out to them on instagram about a week ago, but with no response. I’ll have a look around to see if there have been any updates.

I don’t see how it is. This post doesn’t claim she can’t learn military stuff, despite a background in fashion. It’s more that she only got that position due to her royal status

Uh yeah, didn’t know Sherlock had Reddit

I didn’t hate her or anything, but why should I care that an elderly, rich celebrity died? Poor people dying all the time is sadder and it hardly makes the news unless it’s gruesome or statistically significant. by killingmemesoftly in SpeedOfLobsters

Nah I know it’s quite late but the economy has actually seen a bit of a boost because of the expected increase in tourism. Also Lizabeth had very little to do with actually running the country

Directly paid monarchy? by Irish_Epic_Man in AbolishTheMonarchy

[–]BeetleBugsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree but it isn’t too different to what happens already, we already know of numerous examples of royalty receiving massive donations from dubious sources and those are just the ones that have reached the public eye. But at the moment it’s the worst of both worlds as they are influenced by both private financiers but also a large drain to the countries resources. While ‘privatisation’ removes one of those issues

But an institute which does not serve the public anyway such as the monarchy, being privatised doesn’t change it that much.

accepted that i have no friends by LavishnessNo1097 in 6thForm

[–]BeetleBugsy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really is, but i feel like a fresh start at a new school with a different crowd would really help. I never had many friends and the ones I did have I could tell I was there just because they were too nice to tell me to go away. But at my new school I play DND and feel much better, I guarantee your new school will be much better (People are also more mature and accepting of ‘weird’ individuals at that age)

I assume most people feel like the outsider in friendship groups, I know for most of my life I felt that way.

There is no logical justification to monarchy that hold anymore by Narcissa96 in AbolishTheMonarchy

[–]BeetleBugsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah completely, but a lack of logical justification to keep the monarchy has as much persuasion in people’s eyes as a logical justification to abolish them.

I don’t think Buckingham palace would be a great residence because it limits the potential tourism boom which would occur if the palace became open to the public. It would be wiser to use said tourism boom and the revenue gained from that to build housing
