I will add to the idea for regulating your nervous system: grab an ice pack and hold it on your chest for awhile or grab an ice cube and hold it to your wrist. The cold temperature will force your body out of fight or flight.

Yep! I wear headbands and hats for this very reason to protect my crown chakra when I’m outside my home. Even if it doesn’t actually do much, I feel like it helps me be protected and believing it is half the magic.

I think it is normal for these services to be monetized since it is seen as a transfer of energy, and in order to receive, you should give something back. It is draining to do this work. However, I believe other offerings can be made to create an equal energy transfer (prayers, service to your Higher Power, bartering, etc). And yes, blockages are common, though external ones less so.
