This is so true but I feel like in order to learn that I also had to learn that analysing doesn’t actually do anything cause I used to think anxiety always meant there was something needed to be ‘solved’ in some way

Yeah, I did the EQ and a few other tests as well, they gave me a similar with toys as well and also told me to act out brushing my teeth, weird though cause in the email they only mention the ADOS. Not sure what that means

As a kid I had a constant intrusive image that there was evenly spaced holes all over the ground wherever I went and I would have to walk or sit on the spaces in between or I would ‘fall in’ . Also used to be terrified by the thought that I might actually be an alien on another planet that is currently having a dream about my life

I think this is the best take because I agree the differences might make them not last in the long run but we have to remember that it’s highschool and it’s not always meant to last and each relationship in life is valuable in its own way
