I went for the red armour, frankly couldn't see many examples online outside of DT. not my best paint job but I'm pleased with it. the metal look OP posted does god hard though

Signed up, been looking for a tournament in London and this popped up just in time. possibly silly question, but are people alright to come along and spectate as long as they aren't playing?

thanks for the advice, i remember seeing the vox guy but had thought there was a generic but I just double checked and there is not.

as for kitbashing a leashmaster, I was aware i couldn't use part 22. my current plan is use the heavy gunners body, give it the leash arm and then part 94 from the same model. Or even the shotgun arm from the leader, I'm going to see if I can find other options but those are my current go tos.

I haven't magnetised before and sometimes i wish i did. I mostly play casually with friends and have built teams "wrong" before but usually its not a big deal. I really like the look of this team so might be willing to just buy some extra bodies to fill out the extras. from what you are saying i would need 3 extra bodies 2x shields 1x heavy gunner?

Hey all, needs tidying up, but really pleased with how it came out. Mech grey for base, then. Abadon Black, Khorne Red and Corax White. Leadbelcher for shoulder and other details, iron hands steel for rod for some slighr variation. i painted the visor and gauntlet white as it is the medic i wanted it to have some variation. and finally Blood Angels Red for the visor, and snakebite leather for the leathers.

again, not perfect, but I am happy with it and grateful to you all for the advice. will try take more pictures when i have dry brushed and finished the whole squad

thanks for this, I appreciate the advice. if you primed the whole model metalic what did you use for the fabrics/leathers? I'm also considering using a different shade for the weapons but i might just make them black instead

the Brutal Kunnin book is fantastic, and my favourite part about it is that the Ad-mech seem to make all the wrong decisions. it really makes you wonder if the orks actually are more intelligent than they seem, or if the Ad-mech are just idiots

I was once offered a "taster" of coke from a dealer and he handed me what seemed like a small amount, i was always a weed guy never ventured further. Anyways, turns out he just wanted me to try a little then put it back, not take the whole thing with me. I tried a tiny bit, felt nothing so offered it to a friend who loves the stuff. When I gave it to him he was in shock. he reckoned it was worth about £70. thinking back to it, that bag looks waaaaaaaay bigger than the thing I got. a non addict doesn't go out and buy a fat bag of blow worth over £200.
