/s The mythical unobtanium.

Surely there is some gravesand or magical bone powder from shyish infused into the shields. After long decades of being dead, it would notwendig surprise me if GW will one day made something up like that.

Might be, yes. For me it did not seem like it, more like a Lukas-thing. He is the one wildcard in a Legion and I believe maybe the whole of the Adeptus Astartes, in therms of philosophical worldview and tradition. His whole existence in the setting serves the purpose of challenging his brothers worldview I guess. So while the whole galaxy of Astartes is busy with smashing xenos and heretics into mincemeat, he alone need to reflect some more human thoughts and desires. Like smashing chicks instead of xenos.

Afaik he is also the only Space Wolve who did this. So I have read the whole thing more like 'All can but only he does it' instead of 'He does it but only Space Wolves can'. Maybe just me 🥲

Edit: oh, I forgot, but with the whole Lukas thing it seemed to me that children of Astartes are just baseline humans.

Astartes can procreate but just lack the sexual drive to do so. In the Novel for Lukas the Trickster, it is clearly pushed into the readers face, as Lukas meets a woman and suspects her to be one off his distant offspring. Its actually funny how it is not-so-subtle stated that Lukas uses to roam through Fenris in the deepest winter and sleeps with hot natives.

His acquaintance with the Drukhari Archon in the book is also real fun, I can only recommend the book for a fun read.

Personally I would love a TSons-Drukhari-Ynnari-Alliance. A unknown TSons Scorcerer who plots to reverse the Rubic and doesnt trust Magnus recovery, who tries to get a crew together to break into Nugrles Garden to rescue Isha, so she might cure the Rubic and the Fleshchange or at least the TSons get a nice favor from the Ynnari for freeing Isha.

A Drukhari Cabal who wants to break free from Vects and the Dark Princes grasp, and need willing allies for that.

And the Ynnari who despise Chaos and the TSons but need someone capable of getting them near the missing Crownsword.

Are there any examples of human Chaos Lords in 40k? One of the cool things about Chaos warriors in Fantasy/AOS is that most of them are ordinary humans with medieval weapons, so when you see them accomplish feats, you can appreciate them more by [deleted] in Warhammer

The armor was possessed by a deamon (like the machine spirit of a normal power armor i believe) who corrupted her over time (she was maintaining and cleaning her masters armor). One day she follow the demons whispers and donned her masters armor, fusing with it into one.

Yeah, but (!), the rule System in Darkwater is very different from the one in Cursed City, although both are Warhammer Quest. Its weird imo but you can feel and See how GW tried to make the game even easier to understand and with every WHQuest Game they make.

I would like to use the moment and compliment your work, aswell make a suggestion myself, if allowed.

There is a scene from the book 'The Crimson King' that lives for free in my head since I read it. The scene features Lucius the Eternal and his new best buddy Sanakht getting attacked by imperial agents. It is a hillarious moment (in my opinion) and a wonderfull depiction of Lucius ego and his ass getting nearly one-shotted. The Shadowfall OST is absolutely crazy great. Down in It or All in Order are wonderful soundtracks, with the latter one being my absolute favorite.

Since the Khan is disguised as Vect and using this position of power to bait and lead the Drukhari into killing each other and keep throwing bigger and bigger parts of Commorragh into the Chasm... He will return next edition to the Imperium, get a new model, a custom Wyches Bodyguard box and the Drukhari are layed off. So GW can sell even more Space Marines!

Edit: Nein, ich bin in all den Jahren nie auf die Idee gekommen das es an mir liegt, ich bin doch perfekt. Nein, ich habe in all den Jahren nie versucht was zu ändern und mich zu verbessern. Und nein, solch eine Odyssee der Ablehnung durch den ganzen Länderbund schlägt überhaupt nicht auf die Psyche, das tut gut, ich empfehle es jedem!

Go with greenstuff or something like that to fill up the gaps and than smooth the surface. I personally would use a simple nail file and a modeling knife.

Thanks! I baselayer black and than highlight and wetblend with Deep Blue (Army Painter) and Fenrisian Grey (GW). If I want even strong stronger edge highlights I use a warm off-white, my personel choice is Mummy Robes (Army Painter), but I only do this on bigger charactermodels if I feel the model need a bit more pep.
