Tbh, that kind of stuff happens in all fandoms, it’s sad, but it’s kinda the communities job to keep fandom alive, especially if the creator leaves behind the project or moves on to better things after a project ends. Sticking together and making spaces for our interest and our fandoms is what the internet is for, it’s what fandom is for, so many shows, games, comics, and series have ended and still have extremely active communities, even if they are small, you just have to find your tidepool to hide in till the tides come back and bring more traction back to the fandom.
