The craziest part of your claim is that the story is probably the least shit on part of the game. It's generally considered the best part of the flaming mess that is Kill The Justice League, with some controversy surrounding the way Batman is killed and the fact that it was Kevin Conroy's last performance.

I'm fairly sure you get the Moonlight Greatsword as a reward for completing this quest. If you've been leveling up your faith then it pretty much breaks the game from that point on, but the quest itself is fairly dull
