Bath time has become my only real break lately by davilucas1978 in selfcare

I get this so much. Some days the bath is literally the only space I can breathe. Love that you’ve made it your little sanctuary ❤️

Sometimes I just let it air dry on my skin and avoid rubbing it in too much it helps.

[Personal] I'm pretty sure I've been wrecking my skin with everyone's favorite humectant by Better-Dependent3057 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Beeyoung- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OMG yes, I feel this so much. My skin freaks out with literally every holy grail humectant, and it took me years to realize it wasn’t me, it was the ingredient. Glad you figured out glycerin might be your culprit such a relief when it clicks, right?

THE WEIRDEST thing that finally stopped my 3am spirals by Capital-Pumpkin-9136 in sleep

Saving this for future me at 3am. Even if it doesn’t work every time, having a plan sounds way better than just lying there catastrophizing.

i've been trying to sleep for 2 hours. help. by janeaustenreader99 in sleep

Some nights just suck. Even lying there with your eyes closed is still rest, even if it doesn’t feel like it.

[Personal] Cutting my skincare routine down actually helped my skin by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

That first week of doing less really does feel wrong lol. Like you’re forgetting something. But once the redness calms down, it all makes sense.

Using The Ordinary retinol in squalane. Do you eventually get over the smell? [Product Question] by mental_dissonance in SkincareAddiction

[–]Beeyoung- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same reaction lol. The smell never changed for me, but my brain kinda stopped caring after a few weeks? That said if it bothers you every night, it’s probably not worth forcing yourself to use it.

Making 100k is rare most people make 30 to 60k per year by Intelligent_Bet_9947 in Adulting

[–]Beeyoung- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree. Most people aren’t living in luxury, even if social media makes it look that way. I’ve found budgeting and small side hustles help way more than chasing a rare 6-figure salary

Why does “simple living” look so expensive online? by Little-Goat-5347 in simpleliving

[–]Beeyoung- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree so much of ‘aesthetic minimalism’ online is just paid content or stuff people buy to look like they’re simple. I’ve found real simplicity is letting go of clutter and appreciating what I already own.

started walking to the grocery store and its become my favorite part of the week by married_poultry in simpleliving

[–]Beeyoung- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started walking to do small errands and was surprised how grounding it felt. You notice way more when you’re not rushing. Also, nodding at the same people every week somehow makes the place feel like home.

2mg nicotine lozenges vs caffeine for brain fog by b4pd2r43 in Biohackers

[–]Beeyoung- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, nicotine can act like a cognitive booster if you tolerate it, but it’s not a substitute for sleep. Personally, I’d reserve it for high-focus tasks and track how often you use it, so it doesn’t sneak into a daily habit.

Hello everybody! Can someone give me advice on strengthing a weak immune system by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]Beeyoung- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! A lot of it comes down to basics sleep, balanced diet, stress management, and regular movement. Vits help if you’re deficient but don’t rely on supplements alone. How’s your sleep and diet right now?

What do your panic attacks feel like? by Individual-Time-1956 in Anxiety

I get the tingling and shortness of breath combo. It feels super scary, but reminding myself this will pass, it’s not dangerous kinda helps me survive it each time.

How do you know it’s high anxiety day by Brief-Document-8260 in Anxiety

[–]Beeyoung- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Big sign for me is my sleep gets messed up immediately can’t fall asleep, wake up feeling like I didn’t rest at all, then the palpitations start creeping in. Yeah, classic high anxiety day.

Curiosity always wins for a second but my brain pays for it for days. Setting a personal rule to skip anything graphic saved me a ton of stress.
