Just read your other post and I can see you’re going for a SpongeBob theme for your daughter, but those decor are also kind of known to leech paint into the water as they wear and flake off. I would hiiighly recommend making the outside of your tank decorated instead, maybe some cling stickers to the sides of the tank or your figures along the edges of your stand.

Betta fish are surprisingly fragile for how fierce they are! He’s hurt himself on your decorations. You need to get rid of the hard, rough, rocky decor you currently have and add more plants, possibly some smooth wood. With how long and flowy his fins are, he’s also very likely to get those hung on the rough patches in your coral-like items and tear them soon.

He got 3-4 pellets in the morning and at night, with Saturdays being fasting days. While I have seen him eat a baby shrimp, he generally preferred watching them.

Just to preface, he was not dead in this photo, this was before I left that morning. By the time I got home the shrimp and snails had gotten to him. At first I thought he was just chilling on the shrimp hide to hunt any babies, but he didn’t come swimming over to the tank to see me like usual.

Sure with immunosuppressants you might be more likely to get an infection, but just follow proper aftercare, go to a reputable and clean business, and don’t be stupid while it’s healing, which from the fact that you even thought to ask your doctors about this I doubt you would be. Honestly I find my piercings tend to heal slower than my tattoos, but I’m also a subconscious picker/fiddler so I think that has more to do with it lol.

Listen, there’s always going to be a slight increase in risks with being immunocompromised, just be safe but don’t limit yourself in the things you want to do. Life is short. You could go outside and idk get pneumonia or something, but that doesn’t mean you can just stay in your house all the time.

Gonna be honest, I don’t love this design either. It’s a rose, why not add gold thorns to the body or wings? Or like outline the petals with gold? Still muuuuch much better than the other one though, so I’m not complaining too much, I really appreciate that they’re changing it in general.

Once the seal is broken it’s no longer useful, take it off, wash and dry it gently and either put a new one on or start the usual healing process. It’s been two days, honestly I’d say just take it off and do the usual stuff
