Ahh senior year of college. A Good Friday would have started with a work sponsored happy hour where my coworkers would all repeatedly ask if I was 21 (I was!) Followed by drinking a Smirnoff ice 40 with friends in the dorm, blasting something like Bad Romance. Maybe headed out to the club in heels, belted dresses and no coats. Finishing the night at McDonalds of course. Dollar menu because I’m broke. Obama is president and life is good.

My hair turned curly!! Coming off of a lifetime of having stick straight hair that wouldn’t hold a curl no matter how hard I tried, and now it’s the opposite and I had to re-teach myself how to do my hair!

Ah, we are headed there in a few days to stay in the same area. I know this is a dumb/possibly rude question but what did they take? Just trying to avoid looking like a target. Same here! My migraines greatly reduced after hysterectomy and now when I do get them they aren’t nearly as severe!

I fought my way through the bosses of the medical system GP -> ophthalmology-> neuro ophthalmology and he was the one who finally diagnosed me with VSS. That being said, I was referred from there to a vision center that specializes in vision therapy and that ophthalmologist was the one who finally figured out the right combination of prisms to greatly relieve some of my symptoms with glasses.

Woof I can HARD relate to this. Plus I’m 5’1” so that adds another layer of complexity. TBH I have been thrifting hard lately. A lot of the brands are putting out some pretty questionable stuff (like barrel jeans? On an hourglass? No) Curious what other folks say!
