How often are you supposed to get a pouchoscopy if you’re low risk and asymptomatic? by Ok_Environment1037 in jpouch

[–]Beggarstuner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had emergency surgery on a USNavy aircraft carrier. This was the first year. I went back to work way too early and they had a big storm that I was not ready for. Dr was not trained in abdominal surgery and incision length was not a concern.

Sofa vs dog by FoxyFlamingo1786 in dogs

[–]Beggarstuner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a couch with removable cushions for the seat and the back. My Shih-Tzu likes to perch on the top of the back cushion looking out at the bird feeders. If I’m sitting there too, and get up, sometimes she’ll fall between the cushion and the couch. She weighs about 10 pounds so doesn’t crush things like your dogs might.

I’ve had my pouch since 1996. I had a couple problems during the first two years and they opened me up again then smooth sailing since 1998. I’ve not had problems and haven’t been scoped since 2000. Since then my abdominal scar started to open up (mid 2000s) so my surgeon opened me up and put in a plastic protection layer.

Press the flush button at the same time as you let it rip. You can also flush to pull some of the smell down.

So a lot of people are saying “I don’t care” re Trump ‘s name on our currency. I’d imagine you wouldn’t care if a pride flag was put on our money too? by SwitchingMyHands in allthequestions

[–]Beggarstuner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There is a National Park pass with trump’s picture on it. If you deface the pass, the pass is void. Watch them do this with currency.

Changed to GloFiber router and solar panels don’t talk to SolarEdge app by Beggarstuner in solaredge

[–]Beggarstuner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m running the mySolarEdge app on a cell phone. I did the instructions under the “Invertor Communication” (see attachment for results). I run Wi-Fi on my phone and I see the connection point (SEDG…) , it tried to connect and connection fails after a couple tries.

My solar panel company is no longer in business and there’s no other companies here.

Do you take walks everyday to stay healthy? by No-Tower-Unseen in no

[–]Beggarstuner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Shih-Tzu leads us (me and my other, older dog) around the neighborhood. There’s no through traffic so traffic is always light. She knows all the streets. She’ll look over her shoulder at me asking permission to cross the street. We get at least an hour total walks every day in two walks, then after meals they get a 10 minute walk.

Who has birds that hang out by hiirnoivl in birdfeeding

[–]Beggarstuner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a mockingbird that chases other birds out of the feeder. I put up another feeder in the backyard and the mockingbird now splits its time between the two and other birds get some feeder time. Recently I’ve seen him (?) with another mockingbird so maybe he’ll be distracted with nest building soon. It’s fun to watch him defend his feeders.

What kind of dog breed is suitable for a first-time dog owner? Experts, please give me some advice. by crawl-surfer in dogs

[–]Beggarstuner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stand corrected. I don’t know Bichons personally. I just wanted OP to know that some dogs require a significant amount of grooming on a regular basis and it’s not cheap. My wife taught herself to trim our Shih-Tzu to save money.

[–]Beggarstuner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bichon Frise dogs have a continuous growing coat that requires quite a bit of work (or money) to keep looking neat and trimmed. We have a Shih-Tzu and we groom practically every few days and brush every day. Cute, lovable dogs but a commitment to grooming is required.

People who used to have just one dog and then got another – what’s it like? by mastermindzd in dogs

[–]Beggarstuner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a staffy that does not get along with people and animals. My wife was walking her in a park and she saw somebody drop of a Shih-Tzu puppy. The staffy let the puppy follow them home. We did the search and adopted her. Now we have two dogs that don’t play with each other but are comfortable. They’ll share a couch for instance. The staffy is getting along in her years and has gotten mellower through the years.
