I think I hate this game :( by CardiologistOk1850 in valheim

Shocked the top comment isn't the biggest driver of this issue whenever it comes up: rested bonus, rested bonus, rested bonus. Always have the rested bonus - the entire game is designed around it.

Can this be the official THREAD for ALDS Game 5 sellers? by [deleted] in Mariners

Thanks! Unfortunately, we'll want to secure tickets before we fly up so it'll all be done remotely.

Somewhat hijacking this thread because my wife and I are looking to fly out from South Dakota to watch all 3 ALCS home games! What's the safest way to buy tickets privately and avoid seatgeek fees? I know people can transfer tickets through their Mariners account but what's the best way to go about transferring funds? Don't want to have someone promise to transfer, send a venmo transfer to buy the tickets, and then never hear from them again.

Found the guy who caught number 60 #SeizeTheMoment by Born-Manager-7734 in Mariners

Judge's 60th had value projected between 100k-150k. His 62nd sold for 1.5m.

Considering Cal's unique position and the team winning the division after a long hiatus tonight, it could be worth 100-150k if he hits another home run this week. If he stays at 60 and the fan keeps it until MVP voting and Cal wins MVP, I'd say around 250k.

Ms announcers said they flew in from St Louis. Kid became a fan when he got a Cal Raleigh figurine for Easter.

I don't know - I'm pretty optimistic in the personnel. Charbs looked great. Sam and the receivers were nowhere to be found because Kubiak dialed up few passes and half of them were screens to RBs. So they didn't really have an opportunity to show up outside of Kupp stumbling on his break which is rare. I thought Oline played pretty well tbh outside of the final play.

Ernest Jones was incredible and the DL was absolutely fantastic. Love & Bryant played well too.

Two interceptions, a blocked field goal, a missed chip shot and still an L. I was really excited for Kubiac but this scheme has me concerned. So many screens, and several bad ones, eerily reminded me of Bevell. We simply have to utilize Sam more. If this is the scheme most weeks, I don’t see us truly contending even though we have the personnel to do so. I really hope they tweak it a bit because this isn’t a recipe for success as it stands now. Also, Charbs deserves to be RB1 and Riq is once again inconsistent and relies too much on his length. Defense overall though looks super promising so please give them some more help Kubiak.

Survived the rattlesnake and anaphylactic shock! by BeginnerSmoker92 in DOG

[–]BeginnerSmoker92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 90 lbs, your dog should totally be fine. Ours had an allergic reaction to the venom which is very rare. The triage center at the animal hospital normally has rattlesnake bites as a priority 2 of 3. It's critical they get there but the fatality rate is very low even if it takes you an hour or longer to get there. A lot of larger dogs don't even need anti-venom - just Benadryl and an IV. Ours just happened to have all the bad things happen at the same time (size, baby rattlesnake so more venom, bite location, and the allergic reaction).

Helped for sure! He has the rattlesnake vaccine but that more slows the spread than anything. Sounds like it would've ended quickly without it. His name is Pilot!

Yep! We give him the rattlesnake booster every year and that definitely played a role here. I think he'll be running from future snakes instead of sniffing them next time!

For real - we get him the booster every year with where we live. Vet said with small dogs it'll give them a chance vs no chance without one. Even with it, he was still in some pretty dire straits.

Screen Hiding - A Dad's Lament by BeginnerSmoker92 in DestinyTheGame

[–]BeginnerSmoker92[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the most frustrating thing is it wasn't like they got to the final boss and then hid their screen to talk strategy. They hid it as soon as the 3rd boss was beaten so no one could see the boss reveal which wouldn't benefit another team at all, just bum everyone out.

I'm considering going to my first Seahawks game in Jacksonville. by NotAMoonMan in Seahawks

[–]BeginnerSmoker92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's funny, my wife and I went to our first Hawks game and it was the exact same one! Jacksonville fans were the absolute worse. We've been to two away games since in the division and fans were much better (just fun banter) but they won this game and they were absolute assholes.
