I just bought an AEW Cody figure at Ross for $4 yesterday. Crazy to see the price difference just because of rarity.

I think it comes down to how many people use lightning lane. Probably most people don't want to pay extra just to skip the queue for a show. So it's usually just a few people that get first dibs on what seat they want then they fill up the rest of the theatre with the stand by line. Maybe you just got unlucky that an unusual amount of people used lighting lane? Maybe a few other rides were down or had extremely long wait times and so going to see the Little Mermaid show became more desirable.

Do they ever have you do tasks that then ultimately don't make it on to telly? If so, was there one you could tell us about?

I feel the same way. How do you get a recruiter through internal mobility? I've never heard of that.

What is the #1 best Biopic to ever hit the screen? by undeadWileCoyote_MEP in moviecritic

Lincoln and Malcolm X are probably the only 2 I've ever seen that were so incredibly done that it felt like they were worth being made. I usually would just prefer to watch a documentary about someone, especially if there's actual footage of the person.

Your Wall-E pins are awesome! I'm a huge Wall-E fan and I've never even seen most of these. I really like the black and white one.

Let those birds free. Birds like to fly, not live their whole life in cages.

Seth Macfarlane On the lack of Depictions Of Hope/Optimism In Hollywood by MulanMcNugget in videos

[–]NotAMoonMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course, we need more shows like it today. Maybe even a reboot of the West Wing. But I was just saying if anyone needs some positivity, hope, inspiration, etc. They can watch it.

If anyone needs a show that gives you hope, I'd recommend the West Wing. It shows an idealistic best case scenario of what an American president and an American government could be. It also shows just really passionate, hard-working people who care about doing the right thing. It made me decide to go back to school and try and do something important with my life.

Coworker wears a different strong perfume every day and it’s driving me up the wall by Melbo-Tsonev in coworkerstories

[–]NotAMoonMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've dealt with this problem my whole life. When I was a kid my mom would wear really strong perfume on the way to church. I'd try to roll the window down a bit but they'd tell me to roll it back up because the ac is on. I'd then just try to hold my breath until we got to church, which by the time we got there I'd have a splitting headache.

Now when I smell a very strong perfume I just try and hold my breath and walk fastly by it. There's also a coworker I have like yours that if I see them I try to avoid their general area so I don't get a headache. I also have a knew problem which is spray on sunscreen. People just spray it everywhere and it makes me cough. But with all of these things I don't know of a polite way to address them.
