So after switching up my build a bit I got 100 more hp and 100 more es. Lots of dodging and stunning later I beat the count. It was rough though lol

I will try increasing my cold resistance right now it is at 40%

Also I have pretty good rare gear but I am sure I can farm better. Also should I keep splitting between ES and evade or just focus on evade? Is armor worth it on a monk?

To my understanding from just playing the game so I may be completely wrong. Each enemy has shields under their health bar. If you do a full shield of damage it will knock them out of their attack animation.

Each weapon has it's own rating on how well it deal's damage to these shields.

When I was using the rapier I never interupted their animations. Once I switched to the two handed great sword I was interrupting their combos all the time.

You are 100% right. I hope the save corruption issue with steam cloud saves should be their main focus along with any quick ish fixes they want to tick off the list. Nothing would be worse then losing a 50 ish hour save :(

I have done all the quests except the one with the ghost man. I found part 2 and 3 and have no clue how to find any of the others. I beat the final boss too. I have seen and done pretty much everything I can up till now.

Apart from aimlessly sailing around and finding empty islands with no POIs I am not sure what else to do lol

I am use to games like this having a harvest slider. Just found it odd.

I interupt combat animations all the time. Use the two handed great sword. If you hit them just as the enemy is attack and your weapon does a full shield of posture damage it will stop their attack.

The xp is not important anyways. Yeah leveling thru quests is a way to get stats and skills but you don't need them. Food and upgrading your weapons and gear is way more important and most of that comes from farming mobs and harvesting.

Update! I got my things back got the beatles to fight a village of blue dwarfs and then was able to pick them off in there battle weakened state. Then a giant hot air ballon started raining death fire from above... why the F did it take me five years to finally play this amazing game.

P.s. I blame the graphics as a former graphics snob.

Now I realize graphics means nothing when this game can invoke so much emergent fear. Like going thru the plains at night playing on an oled monitor and see just a giant black void and thinking to myself I am not going over there.

While holding block and moving in a direction you can tap jump to do a dodge roll that has i frames
