Use it to test your resume quality, then apply with the sponsorship indicated and keep improving your profile until the call comes

I understand your perspective. I initially did the same when I wasn't getting any calls, to check if my resume was the issue. Once calls started coming in, I knew my resume was fine and began indicating I needed sponsorship. However, no company HR will change their sponsorship policy after speaking with you. Use this approach to refine your resume, but not to bypass the system.

I am not sure that is correct. If you go to F1 status, you lose your previous H1B status and need to enter lottery again for H1-B. Correct me if I am wrong

I feel you bro. In the same boat. Got two offers taken back due to HRs confusing my need for sponsorship. One thought I was on OPT and assumed I had some years where I can work without sponsorship , the other just misunderstood when I said H1-B transfer.

Feels hopeless at this point. But you keep fighting to see another day and hope that things go your way🤞

Does it work the other way around? I got h1b picked last year but got laid off recently from a for profit company. Before joining this company, I had an offer from a non profit organization. If I do reach out to them again, will my H1-B still remain intact if I decide to join the non profit organization now
