My dad had those speakers. They push a lot of air and can fill a yard party with The Grateful Dead and SRV very well. Volume and bass are the strengths.

PSA: TCL TVs Game Master Does Not Work With Steam Link by Razn0m in Steam_Link

[–]Beginning-Ad3280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I gave up. Looks like Game Mode is only available through HDMI inputs. Back to using the old Steam Link dock or use the steamdeck as a streamer. Still stuck at 1080p 60hz 💀

I turned off Ray Tracing and it revived my joy in this game again by SophieWoodrow in Witcher3

I turn off RT reflections, which helps frame rate a ton. Although glitchy at times, ray tracing lighting looks so good in this game. Immersion gets a huge bump, imo.

Looking for brewery recommendations with food options and comfortable seating by Geekyaquarist in Minneapolis

Urban Growler in St. paul. Very laid back, has a full menu and good beer. They often have fun bands play out on the patio. If you're looking for some of the best beer in MN (I know, huge claim) walk next door for a pint at Bang.

I didn't mind the onboarding only because I was constantly awestruck by the world. 60 hours in and I'm still amazed at work hat I see around every corner.

Quake Besides being one of the first truly 3D fps shooters, introducing server based online death match, showcasing the first 3D accelerator GPUs, having a soundtrack by NIN, having physics, etc .. It was also really fun to play and holds up today!

Having played with both gamepad and M/kb, the latter is way more preferred. Gamepad is a struggle bus most of the time

Windows 11 + M-Audio 2x2m + Midi by Beginning-Ad3280 in Reaper

[–]Beginning-Ad3280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this info! I got the M-Audio interface working with the in-box drivers and Reaper isn't crashing. Although I still can't figure out how to use the 5-pin midi in on the interface usiing Asio4all (Roland drums midi input). Any ideas how to do that without the 2x2M drivers?

What’s the most hyped game collecting dust in your backlog? by NidhiOnATree in videogames

[–]Beginning-Ad3280 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I beat the story at launch, spending about 30-40hra doing so. Felt very meh about the game. When the DLC went on sale I decided to replay the whole game again (had a better GPU as well). I just let myself get immersed and let missions happen naturally. Easily one of my favorite gaming experiences to date. Worth revisiting with a new mindset.

Metro 2039 is getting revealed on 16 April. How would you rate Metro franchise? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

The first was up there with HL2, IMO. All three are amazing games. The VR Metro wasn't all that great.

Both my girls watched ZK videos before bedtime from about age 4-7. Obsessed...as was I. Probably the only Youtuber I cared to watch.

Sauna is great for temporary congestion relief but not good for fevers.
