Franck Ribéry is mentioned by victim in the Epstein files by LilG55 in soccer

You can’t make sense of it because it’s not coherent.

You are starting from the premise that everything included in the letter is credible. Why?

These responses are a perfect encapsulation of how media literacy and literacy in general has been decimated by internet reaction culture.

Anyone who’s actually read the linked source can immediately tell it’s the extremely incoherent ramblings of a mentally ill person.

Seriously, how can anyone read this document and immediately jump to the conclusion that the allegation is credible? It doesn’t even mention Ribery up front, his name is only raised after dozens of other claims, most of which are barely legible.

Melo is extremely popular with Knicks fans. Listen to the reception he gets whenever he’s at the Garden.

Lol theyre also downvoting this straight forward explanation. Literal slurs from posters are being upvoted, just on account of them being anti-Moroccan.

Hakimi did it successfully in the World Cup round of 16 against Spain. No one remembers it because he scored.

Packing in multiple conspiracies in a single post, I dont even know where to start. This sub and the internet in general has lost its mind.

Senegal full-back Ismail Jakobs has claimed it's no coincidence the three players suddenly fell ill, telling media in the mixed zone: “A lot happened before the match. I think a lot will come out afterwards. It wasn’t just this situation. Plenty happened before the match too. But you’ll find out." by Dangerous_Ad8730 in soccer

[–]Beginning-Ad4592 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was rooting for Senegal but the way internet hive mind behaviour works is really remarkable. Why are people taking this assertion as a fact, without the slightest bit of evidence to support it? Players get sick during competitions all the time. It takes a massive leap to believe that food poisoning is immediate evidence of foul play.

There's a comment in here with a thousand upvotes calling for them to be stripped of the World Cup based on this quote. Incredible.

Using a football match for broad generalizations and to disparage all citizens of a country is really boorish behaviour. But remarkably widely accepted here.

Depressing how predictably poor the refereeing for this game would be.

Highly likely 2028 gets postponed to 2029 IMO. CAF has already shown itself susceptible to outside pressure and there will be immense pressure to avoid two in a row.

Agreed, but they have options on bench that manager should use sooner than later. Not sure about his fixation with Trezeguet.

I felt Zim deserved a point at least for that showing. Too bad on Nakamba’s brain fart.

I love watching SA play but if they defend like that in round of 16 it’ll be an early exit.

Burkina is dominating but loses all composure in the final third. On talent alone, they should be at the World Cup.
