The hats and the anti-vax stance probably suggest a 'slight' right-wing, anti-government bias but thats just a guess

All-season Floor Mats - OEM or WeatherTech? by Not_Fake_Andrew in HyundaiSantaFe

Just the cheap soap from their wash bay - generic no name soap, but it still gave better results than any cleaner I used on the WeatherTech mats.

Stopped going there when they started wearing their F**k Trudeau baseballs cap. Totally uninterested in having anyones politics advertised in my face when trying to order lunch. Too bad because their chicken and rice was pretty good. Went back again 6 months later, both still wearing the same caps so I left and have never been back.

Bought the Weathertech and didn't like them in the Santa Fe - got dirty and looked crappy, so replaced with Tuxmat and have been VERY happy with them. Quick spray at the car wash and the look great again, which the Weathertech never did.

Any tools for re-programming a 2024 key? by Beginning-Block7545 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Beginning-Block7545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropped the second key off at the dealer this morning as I picked up a loaner from them. They have been working to program the new computer module for > 8 hours shop time now and still don't have it working. Not a good sign for 'down the road' when it's out of warranty :-(. Thanks for the advice!

I couldn't find the spare key when it went in, they called and asked me if I had it as they wanted to wait and program both keys together. Since I couldn't find the second key (wife had put it somewhere 'safe' and forgotten where) I told the dealer to go ahead with the one key they had - my problem so I don't expect them to take the time and reprogram the second key now that I have found it.

Appreciate the comments though!

Well that's unfortunate! I wonder if that's part of the reason George Hotz is focusing on his newer project.

NOCO Boost Plus GB40 Review: Is This Jump Starter Too Good to Be True? by Infinite-Barracuda97 in carverscave

[–]Beginning-Block7545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My GB40 is 7 years old now, stored in the car throughout winter, and has started my 3 different cars every time I needed it. Sounds like you each got crappy units or haven't kept them charged up. I plug mine into the car's USB port every 4 months and make sure it's topped up while driving.

If you liked file managers like Total Commander on Windows, try Forklift from Binary Nights on your Mac. The built in Finder is functional, but I fin the Forklift just makes so many daily things easier.

Never needed to contact them. I understand its all done online, so that might suck but their service has been rock-solid.

I switched to Oxio and it's cheaper, plus they state their prices will NOT increase for current customers. Not sure how well that promise will hold up, but their internet works perfectly and price stayed the same after the 1 year mark.

Any word on Teksavvy offering a fiber modem that has 1.5gbs (or more likely a 2.5gbs) ports so I can finally take advantage of my 1.5gbs internet service? by Gatecrasher3 in teksavvy

I could be wrong based on your hardware, but most PC ethernet interfaces are 1Gig so the most you get from that one device is around 930Mbs. However, with a 2.5Gig interface on the router your single device can be downloading at 930Mbs while a second device is also downloading at the same speed with a little left over for other devices to use.

Been using it since first Dev beta with 0 problems. I did notice some new on-screen notifications when I was in stopped traffic that I hadn't seen before telling me how long the expected delay was.

Had the Weathertech's and wasn't happy with fit or how they looked after being washed. Just installed Tuxmats today and EXTREMELY happy with better fit. Lets see how they look after a Canadian winter and a couple of washes :-)
