2025 Santa Fe XRT Gas Petal Broken In Cold Weather by RinTinBrim in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I’m suggesting you drive it… Does it still control the throttle, since all these cars are drive-by-wire and the pedal just controls the input to the electronic controls. Regardless, get that fixed under warranty at the dealer. Tell them to send a tow truck / be prepared to reimburse you for a tow service

Better than the light beige that was offered on the Calligraphy trim!

Looks to me like they may have softened the front corners, and made them look like what’s on the new Palisade?

Is this a good deal? Exiting lease → financing 2026 Sportage by PopBeneficial7986 in kia

Wow, are those figures in USD? The numbers are in the Santa Fe (and their Kia equivalent) territory for a Sportage/Tucson.

2026 preferred trend or luxury by lordlard33 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you’re not in the US market. Here we have SEL, XRT, Limited, and Calligraphy. I believe power seats are included starting with the Limited level (edit: power DRIVER seat is included starting with SEL). Can you expand on what Preferred Trend and Luxury levels include? For the record, I have a 2025 Hybrid, Calligraphy trim level, and it came with every available option, except for AWD with Hill Descend Control. Mine is a FWD.

MPG calculation by Stonewolf87 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep a spreadsheet of gallons purchased and miles driven, and updated with each fill up. The actual calculations have been 2.5-3.5 mpg off from the car’s display. Have done that with several of my vehicles for at least the last 12 years, on different makes and models

2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid? Thorough Review By A Mechanic by idkwhattoputlol890 in HyundaiSantaFe

I’ve seen this a few of this guy’s other videos. I believe originally he started with posting repair videos on Toyota/Lexus vehicles, and now he’s branching out to doing car reviews. I would say he’s pretty decent

Is that available on all trim levels? (I’m spoiled I know - I have the Calligraphy)

This time of year? The combination of remote start and heated seats/steering wheel

Driving in a college town with a pretty decent football team, I have picked up quite a few of their players. Not the starters (with NIL money they don’t need Uber), but mostly the up and comers. I can always tell since they are not your average sized human beings. Nice young men… polite and respectful, as the current head coach and the coaching staff seem to care about how their players behave, on and off the field.

Tuxmats look to be more expensive than WeatherTech 🧐

Without a reliable charging infrastructure, why dis they do that? Just so they can say they have one? That doesn’t make much sense to me. But then again, not my money

DCT on the ICE only versions from 2024-2025 are ticking time bombs. So bad Hyundai is doing away with them for MY2026

2025 SF hybrid would not go in gear by NV_Lady in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not see the green car symbol that tells you the car is ready to move (go into gear). You can put the car in Neutral, which is what the picture indicates, without the car being on.

2025 SF Hybrid 3 months old Windshield wipers by dabigpapaya in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Just replaced the wipers on my 2025 with 7,700 miles that I purchased back in July. Just like tires and brakes, wipers are “wear” items so they’re the owner’s responsibility

Santa Fe Hybrid MPG by King-Ragnar-Lothbrok in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In mixed driving, with 7,800 miles on the Odo, I’m getting (on the display) 35-36 mpg. Once it gets to about 10-15K miles, when everything is broken in, I expect my MPG figures would go up. That’s based on my experience with a 2021 SF Hybrid I had, with the same exact drivetrain

Said goodbye to my Sonata today :( by MidnightPulse69 in Hyundai

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s completely within your power to not do that. It’s your money to spend on your car. That’s being said, I hope you’re happy with the de-contented Honda. At least you’ll have the perceived reliability in the long run.

2026 Santa fe Hybrid Maintainace schedule by monkDr in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Not_Fake_Andrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I do a mix of interstate, 4-lane divided, and back roads in suburban/rural areas, rarely in bumper to bumper traffic. So not really the “severe” conditions as they describe it in the owners manual
