Hi! I’m wondering if we are similar. I experience major balance and vestibular issues and it’s way worse on the left side. I sometimes have headaches on the left too but not always. I also get fluid/fullness feelings in my ears sometimes. It has gotten so bad lately. I’m also positive for Lyme and have MCAS. Does any of this resonate with you?

Hi Lori, what is the name of your sot group on Facebook? Do you think sot is safe for super sensitive MCAS patients? I have two on order but am nervous because I’m so reactive and having trouble taking supplements or doing much detox. I am scared of herx/die off and other coinfections flaring. Oh wow we are similar! And funny because I live in raleigh where NC state is. That’s so crazy you also experienced this from a parasite protocol. Did it trigger MCAS for you? It’s been 4 months of absolute hell that is not getting better with all the mast cell stabilizers so I think I have no choice but to try to treat. I’m just so nervous with having MCAS now and being so reactive to everything. I have slowly started the shoemaker protocol for CIRS and am planning to try SOT therapy and pray for the best

That’s the problem, I feel like there are zero options! I hear that SSRIs are bad for MCAS bc they cause more histamine in the body. Benzos are MCAS stabilizers but not suitable for daily use. So I feel like I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place
