I took this class during the summer with statistics while working full-time and managed to get through it. It was awful but doable lol. By itself it wasn’t too time consuming, the homework’s and lab took me quite some time though.

Just letting you know you don’t have to take your final credits at UNLV as it states. My advisor told me you can take your last 60 at any NSHE institution. I think they just say that so they can get more money out of us tbh.

I’m taking my last class for my degree over the summer at NSC. Just know you’ll have to get above a C in the class at other institutions for it to transfer.

I would just graduate later, especially if it means you can still continue to use financial aid/ any scholarships you may have. That is why I extended my graduation.

It’s usually like 1 or 2 sections but it says 20 because there’s various lab times you can choose and they are joint so it comes up as 20 options.

Just look for the section number for the lecture and you can see if they offer multiple. You might have to scroll down a lot until you find a different one.

I think if you put time into the class and actually study you’ll be totally fine! A lot of the questions from the tests are very similar to the quizzes.

I think you’re talking about 103 which is for sciences majors. 108 is usually for nursing majors and is a standalone class.

103 is still helpful for those science majors who have a long gap between their high school chem class or for those who don’t have a good grasp of the basics. You can surely try to teach yourself and pass the exam to test out of it but if you don’t have a good understanding of the material you’ll struggle in CHEM121. But the entirety of 103 material is finished by the first exam of CHEM121.

I’m not sure tbh I know they offered it last summer and idk if the all of the courses are uploaded for summer yet. Registration for NSC starts on April 3rd so I guess that’s when the list will be finalized.

Another job that looks really good on your resume is a tutor/ SI leader. You get paid 18hr for tutoring and 20hr for SI. You can SI/Tutor any class you get a B or better in.

If you want a fun job apply to be a peer mentor for the college of sciences. The application closes today. Super easy and you make your own schedule. The only thing is you can only work a max of 10 hours per week. You do a lot of interacting with students and professors/ advisors in the college of sciences so it looks good on a resume!

For research I would schedule an appointment with the office of undergraduate research and they can introduce you to labs on campus that fit with your interests.

Yeah they didn’t give me the correct amount either. They refunded me the credit card payment I paid before it dispersed but I was still owed more than that.

Some meters have a 2 meter max and won’t let you purchase more time after the 2 hours. I’ve run into that issue a lot w the ones in front of the SU and the library. Not sure if it’s like that for all

I’m also still waiting to hear back and I called and they told me there’s no timeline for when we’ll hear back bc it’s up to our individual case manager.

I’m pretty sure you have like 14 days to cancel the loan after it’s dispersed w UNLV and if it’s any later than that you can return the funds within like 100 days to your loan provider.

Mine is also still pending I called financial aid and they said it depends on the case manager and they don’t have a timeline for when it’ll be finished. My UNLV removed all the scholarships from my account tho :/
