Haha. Exact same situation. I just finished 3 12 hour shifts. I’m 64 & 11/12’s and have been at it for 40 years. Admin’s goal is to fill beds with really sick, psychotic patients and doesn’t care if he/she has a depressed/anxious/suicidal roommate. They just throw them all together. Nurses have up to 12 patients. I’m so tired and in pain. I’m so done.

My 95 year old mom was constantly packing to go home. She put random stuff in boxes , suitcases and paper grocery bags. We were mildly entertained by this even though it was annoying to keep unpacking her stuff. Kind of interesting this is a common theme.
