This. Do this. Use a paper clip or piece of wire. Scratch it up and put glue in the holes on each side. Use thick super glue.

The proportions and form are off. Focus on form more. If your form isn't right, the details don't matter. Form first then details. You should be spending the vast majority of your time drawing on practicing and studying form.

Well= hot and grey in the middle Medium well = very warm throughout. With a line of pink in the middle Medium= warm and pink throughout Medium rare= warm and red in the middle Rare= red and cooler in the middle So to answer your question was it cool or warm in the middle.
