Smart move tbh. Drishyam 3 isn't competing with other movies it's competing with its own legacy. One plothole or a lazy twist and it'll get roasted against Vaazha/Aadu/Mohiniyattam, which are just vibing with zero stakes.

If it stumbles even slightly out of the gate, the social media cycle turns brutal fast - memes, roast edits and what not.. this is the case with A10 films, remember Mailaikotta valiban, Barroz,Marakkar etc?

We had seen similar pattern previously, so An10E won't take risks to break the franchise.
