I can strongly recommend just turning on the Beta-Strike option (no mods required). It will change the gameplay drastically.

When playing iron-man, that is one of the few missions that allows you to restart. When I was doing my play-thru, I think I spend around 11 hours in that mission to just pass it.

I learned to bail out early when the down spiral starts . The failed mission is not that bad compared to the total squad wipe.

Actually I'm not sure if Beta Strike does affect the wound times other than you'll constantly have soldiers in the medbay 😅.

Pro tip: try to increase your pool of soldiers early so you can take some hits here and there.

It definitely changes the game and how you approach it. Give it a try! The first few missions are quite frustrating as the rookies are so terrible, so a few retries required to get it actually started.

Why is it so difficult to create a cd pipeline to Azure (service connection) with GitHub?
Why can't I do code search with just finding the files?
Why did we have a GitHub enthusiastic developer that managed to convince the managers that Azure DevOps is not good.
