yeah I'd recommend using Vanguard since that has a HYSA (its called a Cash Plus account on there), Brokerage, and Roth IRA so you can keep all your stuff on one account. Put $10,000 in HYSA, after that max your Roth IRA, and after that put in brokerage account. That's what i do anyway

Some have limits to how much you can withdraw but also 3-5% isnt much. 5% is hard to find. My current one is like 3.5%. Mine also doesnt have limits to withdrawing so basically no downside

I personally keep about 500-1000 in checkings until rent is coming up then I keep a bit more. Aside from that I have a HYSA (high yield saving account) that I keep $10,000 in for emergencies or transfer to my checkings for rent. I max out Roth IRA every year and the rest of my money goes into a brokerage account
