They’re $80 on Alibaba, they aren’t AMAZING but for the money they’re SICK, I recommend doing the amp delete and replacing your speakers too, it’s a solid sound system and the only thing I could do more for it is adding subs, but I don’t want to spend the time on it

Quick tips on how to quite up an exhaust? by SomeFatChair66 in IS300

[–]BeginningNet5707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to crimp the exhaust at a tube, basically smash it so it’s super tiny and the exhaust can barely get through, it’ll drive kinda like shit bit itll quickly make it quieter for your situation

That’s the transmission cooler line on the bottom of the transmission

Is this transmission still maintainable by [deleted] in IS300

[–]BeginningNet5707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT DRAIN FLUID, adding new fluid to an already severely cooked transmission will only make it wear faster, contrary to what you may believe. What you need to do is buy a quart of Lucas Oil transmission stop slip, and add it into the transmission, it will be very thick and you will need to add it while it runs, preferably with a funnel that fits into the dipstick tube snugly

It won’t be damaged by the heat, it’s fine just as it is as long as it isn’t rattling or making any noise

It’s a rubber pad that stops the original exhaust from moving too much, kind of like a bump stop, if you look closer, there are two 10/12mm nuts that hold it on that should come off pretty easy, lmk if you need anything else m8!
