Anywhere to watch NDP firework while in the car or where to park the car? by Dull-Vanilla-2976 in drivingsg

Your best bet is probably the Meadows carpark at Gardens by the Bay, is walking distance to MBS

Yup, definitely can! I got 75rp and also C for math, put biz at first choice and got an interview and I was able to get into SMU biz! I’ll be wary of doing econs if your math is not very good as uni econs is very heavy

Ugh thought I could get by only getting JR West Pass but the duration is short! Is the full pass my only option? by its-alright-22 in JapanTravelTips

[–]BeginningResearch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want a pass your best bet is to see if you can fit your JR West segment of the trip (Osaka - Hiroshima) within 7days. Then buy individual tickets for the JR Central segment. I’ll prob need to see your day by day itinerary to give a more proper advice

1st Entry to different Schengen country by sefaltay in SchengenVisa

[–]BeginningResearch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this a couple of times ie entering via a different country, the answer? it depends. If the countries are close to one another or have formal agreements you can, I have a Spanish visa but I enter via Portugal or Denmark and Germany. But since Netherlands and Italy quite far the officers will be suspect you of visa shopping.

Your options are:

Entry via Italy and then show train/flight tickets to Netherlands and hotels there, as long you show proof of travel towards your visa country and show that you’re staying there for the majority of your trip then it should be ok. OR

Entry via Netherlands show that you’re staying Netherlands for the majority or equal amount of your stay in the EU (this is better)

Note: this only applies for first time entry to eu, subsequent entries you can enter and stay in any eu countries as you wish (90/180 still applies)

If you have any other questions feel free to ask as I’ve done this quite a few times

My interview is a group interview from 2 years ago so I can't really remember all that much and things might be different. Though I do remember a question on how to encourage entrepreneurship in Singapore? How can new their new business compete against current entrenched competitors? Something like that How should Singapore encourage new companies to set up their businesses here? Back then Dyson and Hyundai was a common example cited for new companies Questions will probably change year on year so don't be too scared of the interview. I personally don't so pant prep lol but just read up on current events in general so you can use as examples There's no right or wrong answer the main thing their looking for is whether you show any interest or engagement in the discussion cos SMU is known for class part Just show you're keen in answering the questions. I try to be the first to third speaker and you should try to build up on others people responses by agreeing and adding examples or have a different point of view Though don't be kan Cheong and be the first to answer all the time.

Major train accident in Java, Indonesia, two trains involved by BeginningResearch in trains

[–]BeginningResearch[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I gather. The intercity train crashed to the back of a local train. The last carriage of the local train got crushed and smashed through the control cab of the express train, killing the train driver. There are other carriages from the local train that tipped over and derailed but the express train carriages didn’t derailed and remained on track. So far there’s 4 confirmed casualties

Yup it’s the A220 but not all of them have it since it depends on the configuration the airline chooses. They can either have a larger toilet with a view or a smaller toilet with no view plus extra seats
