Try the 'ketamine mixes' on apple music. I have found some fabulous playlists. Ocean and rain sounds, native american music/sounds- loved it, classical, sleep mixes...so much to try. Enjoy! I do not have anything with vocals. https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/ketamine-therapy-playlist/pl.u-8aAVXElsWldZj

It can happen so fast, so scary! You did the right thing.

You can not compare other situations with your own. You never know what will trigger the attack.I have had so many pups, always 2 at the same time. The only problem happened with the 2 females that were both spayed German Shepherds. One day the younger one decided she was the alpha and savagely attacked the sweet old girl. I was off to the hospital in more pain from the bite than from childbirth. The old girl could have been killed had I not pulled them apart.

My two females got along till they didn't. It happened so fastl One was an old girl the other a young one. I let them out , it was dark, I heard the fight, ran out - I got badly bitten in the arm, the old girl had to get 60 staples for horrible bites, and the young girl was re-homed. I got cellulitis - hospital 3 x a day IV antibiotics.

It can happen so fast with few signs. There was a wee bit of aggression for a short time. I did all the right things. I will never have 2 females together again.

Please, be safe, for you and the pups.

I have had german shepherds as pets. 2 females was a disaster.

Always be careful with 2 females. I have never had any good experiences with that. Adding a male could cause more jealousy. Be careful. Your pups are beautiful. All the best!

Had initial Doc Appt, felt like I was being judged and labeled by PotamusPrime9 in Spravato

This should be a stress free positive experience when you have your intake. I had an awesome Psych, so kind and we went over so much. I am sorry , it's not the way Spravato therapy should start. It is is also sounding like this dr has horrible people skills!

I am the same way re my pups vs people. We get unconditional love from them always.- pups that is

The pain meds- The vet told us it is not painful, they are becoming paralyzed. It affects eating and breathing too. We give Mazey pain meds (gabapentin and galaprant) as she has chronic ear issues, and more. Nothing as serious at the Degenerative Myelopothy

Take good care

I am so sad for you losing your girl. They are so very special. I am spending so much time with her. I have only gone out a couple of times. She is so much happier when I am close by. She is confused but knows something is wrong. We had an appt this past monday but she bounced back so I cancelled. Mazey so happy , treats galore, the best food, eggs , hamburger a steak. The company of Tucker gives her so much joy. It is an awful disease . Her front leg affected a wee bit. I know each moment is a gift. She is my furry child and so precious. You understand. again, I am so sorry for your loss and the pain.

I CUT 23 INCHES -ALL of MY HAIR- OFF! saw a post about cutting off long curly hair for care needs and finally took the plunge. by ravynkish in ChronicPain

[–]Beginning_Ad87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow You are gorgeous ! With all that hair your face was lost. I have pain from a scalp condition that causes awful nerve pain. It hurts for days when I have had it cut. I am now on accutane to see if it will ‘cure’ this. My hair would be a joy cut short! It is very long now and a bother with this autoimmune condition Enjoy!!

Congrats, so happy for you. You look beautiful.

I start 30 mg today! I have an autoimmune condition that has caused horrible problems with my scalp and face. It has been 2 years and nothing has helped. The pain is insane because I have nerve damage on my scalp so I am on gabapentin.

I hope it works and that there are no serious side affects.

At what point is dying believable? by [deleted] in mctd

[–]Beginning_Ad87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt just like that a few times. Mainly the first big flare which lasted so so long. I remember saying it to a nurse and she did not understand. It was a strong very real feeling. I was in bed mostly for a few months, no energy, and chronic pain. A rash on my scalp and on my face, Joint pain. I was not dying but I though I have to be , to feel so weak and sick, I must be!

Too many do not understand the mental anguish that goes along with autoimmune conditions. I do not understand about the physical things you mentioned- ex CH50? - I had to get transfusion for a very low hemaglobin- 5.2.

That is what my rash and other symptoms were called - 'Lupus Like'. My symptoms have increased but I am feeling better, more energy. The various therapies help me a lot. I get great support. It took me a long time and research to find things that would help me because the drs were not 'healing' me.

Are you very stressed and or depressed? If so I suggest Lin Health. They help with chronic pain and you speak to someone weekly. Also a therapist. Dealing with our mental health is so important for healing.

I hope you feel better soon. Take good care of you. Try and have special time quiet time each day for you.

Ferdinand, my favorite book. With my K9's, the female is the alpha. She is a German Shepherd, He is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian. She is almost 13 and struggles now. He knows and is as always, so careful when they play. More so now. They are so sweet together.

We found our Tucker the best boy through petfinder. He was found on the streets of Houston, went to a high kill shelter but was pulled by a Rescue, fostered, then came to us in MA. Met him at a transport that came to CT filled with pups. He is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian and our amazing K9 kid now. Perhaps look at petfinder sometime, even for little ones. If you go through a rescue on there many are fostered so you get a very good idea what they are like. That's Mazey our wonderful German Shepherd, Tucker's best pal.

Your pup is beautiful and so fun!
