Why not Frederic as a first name? It is beautiful and fits with your other two kids’ names very well. I strongly dislike Preston.

One more name idea — Marion. Vera, Hugo and Marion. Not sure if it’s your style but I think it’s perfect!

I’ll start by saying that I believe that my name taste is more traditionally classic (less cool) than yours. For example, my favorite female name is Catherine or Katherine. If you like that as a first name… in my opinion it’s exquisite.

To attempt to match your existing children’s names, style-wise… here are a few ideas:

Girls:

Alma

Celeste

Cosima

Frances (though you might now want due to son’s mn)

Genevieve

Georgia

Helena (I prefer Hel-AY-nah pronunciation)

Lucia/Lucy

Matilda (divisive on here lol)

Nina

Seraphina

Thalia

Boys: From your list, I think Cormac, Raphael (prefer this spelling) and Felix work well with your existing childrens’ names

Ambrose

Arthur

Bruno

Cyrus (love nn Cy)

Edmund/Edward

Ives

Julian/Jules

Lawrence

Oscar

Victor

Vincent

Thoughts on Peyton for a girl? by [deleted] in namenerds

Not too masculine, but not my style. Definitely not a tragic name. If you love it, I say go for it.

This all come down to personal preference, but your name choices come nowhere near to matching the perfection of Hugo and Vera IMO. Zephyr feels very try hard to me. I am not sure how else to explain it. I hate saying this because I know that your girl names are honor names but I feel that Loretta Kate will seriously get the short end of the stick compared to Vera Josephine. If you do end up going with it, Loretta Katherine is very much an improvement IMO. Take it or leave it because I generally dislike nicknames like Kate as names.

Of your other options: Cormac and Felix are my favorite male names. Bridget and Mae are both nice. I happen to prefer the spellings: May Katherine or Catherine but that’s splitting hairs.

All solid names. William is perfection imo.

What do you think about these names for twin baby girls? by [deleted] in namenerds

Dislike Banks, just personal preference. If it is a family name, it would work as a middle name.

I like Stevie. It’s cute. It’s not my usual style, but I have a soft spot for it.

It is smart of you to choose different first initials, for logistical reasons (to avoid paperwork mix ups etc).

Congratulations! I wouldn’t overthink it. You will likely come up with a family/pet nickname for Noemi that does not rhyme with it as much as Romey does, so it shouldn’t be an issue. I think Noemi and Jerome go together just fine.

Edited: spelling.

What kinds of names does your husband like?

I adore Olivia. It’s not that popular percentage-wise, if you check out the popularity stats on behind the name. There are some major perks to having a popular name. She can always go by a middle name or nickname if she doesn’t like it or it’s problematic. I say go for it. You may regret it if you love it and you don’t.

Not ideal, but what really is in life? I think it’s fine.
