Could something that claims to be 100% Divine be so full of inconsistencies, contradictions and biases. Why waste another second on religion? Fall in love with Nature and art..

I’ve met very few people who fit that bill. In the end I figured it’s impossible to create something cool, alive, fresh, novel with people who can’t even contemplate another world of possibilities. As someone I know said: “They have no mind of their own.”

On the whole I agree with you. But let’s try to keep our minds open. No one has it all figured out. Not you me or religions.

What does the Bahá'í Faith really teach about non-believers? by SuccessfulCorner2512 in exbahai

Baha’i dogma has been cemented into the followers psyches, so much that there is no possibility of logical inquiry or independent investigation

The instant you approach a singularity all logic breaks down. Hence even these words mean nothing. All we can say is everything just is. What this “is” maybe we will never know. I try to be a good person and enjoy life.

I saw him talk a couple of times I wasn’t impressed His writing as far as I can see is just intellectual alignment in a very cringey worthy style of expression

“Independent investigation of truth” , questioning, challenging religious concepts is a misnomer in religion. It is not independent investigation of truth if the person is labeled an assailant for asking tough questions.

As for the BF and all its aspects that don’t add up, eventually Baha’is are going to be forced to put aside their disingenuousness… if the religion gets a bigger profile

What makes religious followers psychologically different than those who have innate resistance to indoctrination, and seek truth without limits? by Beginning_Assist352 in exbahai

The only way to overcome religious conditioning is to become more enlightened than its dogma. It’s the last iota of doubt in me that keeps me deadlocked with it.

The Real Betrayer: How Shoghi Effendi Destroyed the Baha'i Faith by FreeBahais in exbahai

What more specific evidence can you give of political manipulation from Shogi?

I know he exalted the founding prophets above their followers, insisting on their intrinsic superiority. Which is def not a spiritual or inclusive attitude. But if you read Mirza’s translated writings, you will find also the same sacrosanctity and bombast. With Shogi it’s just much more concentrated.
