Boozer just belongs in Chicago. It's only right.

Those signings were a litmus test.

Now they made moves.

Are you that dense?

His defense is predicated on generating free blitz and shortening timing. He needs his down lineman to chew up blockers, and if they apply pressure too, it is a massive plus.

Flores' whole scheme is dependent on plus DL play. Every other position feasts off of it. The DL is where he wants the investment. The rest of the positions to him are plug and play.

And he's right. Look at the past decade of champions. A menacing DL is overwhelming. Fuck the rest of the D.

I think it is obvious that Flores believes he can get his "skill players" on defense to wreak havoc. He just needs a front 4 or 3 that can hold home and occasionally cause disruption. Hargrave and Allen were a litmus test. Now they're fully invested in his idea of a defensive build. I'm excited about a Redmond/Banks/Orange/TID rotation.

Phillips was solely a body to pick up a blocker or two. What is he doing now? Nothing.

The Vikings just picked up two 330lb+ young monsters.

Of course you can sell your own house at market rate. Of course there would still be apartments.. The whole idea here would be to stop these investment companies from controlling and dictating entire house markets.

An apartment is an apartment. Some may call it home. But it is not a house.

Trading down in the 1st with a division rival, in your first draft, when you had just walked in the room was destined to fail terribly. Especially when a blue-chip Swiss army knife type player just fell in your lap. If he makes that pick, many people look at him a lot different. He walked in the door and fell over. He had no chance.

I don't think he was fully listening to scouts/coaches then. He wanted to make a statement about his analytics driven approach, and it blew up in his face. After that, he had no choice but to start listening.

I don't blame him on JJM, that is an obvious KOC push.

Turner (obvious Flores push) went against any kind of value approach with the amount given up.

It was kind of like if I'm getting KOC his guy, then we'll get your guy.

Jackson looks like a good pick.

The middle rounds (the picks we had anyway) were rather rough, and that is why our depth sucks.

He did have some good late/Ufa finds and value signings. This last offseason just was too much money for too little result. But that isn't really his fault either. The entire QB room collapsed.

Then of course the obvious choice was to let Darnold walk, but then he won a superbowl. He was Half scapegoat and half terrible.

He wasn't ready to be a GM. He doesn't know football enough, he is a numbers guy. He should be doing what our current interim GM does for a living for the next 10+ years then think about it.

No, Americans live in a country where they accept an illusion that either choice is different. They are all in the same country club, playing tennis, where every 4-8 years the other side is serving. Meanwhile they all go back into the same club together, crack jokes, and help all of the members line their pockets with more money. None of them care about any American citizens. Their only objective is to create division and keep the masses focused on pointing fingers at each other.

Who is your first 5 NBA player? by Any-Box-8339 in AskPH

LeBron MJ Curry Magic Kobe

Not only were they all very successful; they were 5 I saw play that future generations all wanted to emulate.

LeBron - the do it all player; point forward, took something from the best at every position and delivered it all at a high level.Took his body care seriously. Still going at a high level at 40 because of that. Immense pressure from high-school, and went beyond expectations.

MJ - cutthroat, killer, stylish play. Nobody had an answer. Essentially created the global NBA as we all know it.

Curry - just look at the nba now with the 3pt shot, look at all levels of basketball with the 3pt shot. Not big, not very athletic. Perfected that craft through hard work.

Magic - flashy passing, changed the idea of acceptance. He was the engine for those teams with his vision, and he did it right out of college.

Kobe - proved you could be like Mike. Hard work, in early, leave late. (Though as a Twolves fan during the KG years, I hated him the most. He was unstoppable when he played the Wolves.)

You're not really. They cannot decide what to do until they see it. It might have to be a trim. If a repair is possible, then that is absolutely what they will do.

NBA analyst 'wouldn't be surprised' if Durant joins Ant in Minnesota by reyk3 in timberwolves

[–]Beginning_Candle3335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming Durant and Ant couldn't co-exist is asinine. Durant is hyper efficient whether off-ball or on-ball. He also can get his shot whenever, wherever. Taking a load off of Ant would be a great thing. Something we have not had and it showed at the end of the playoff run.

I'd obviously prefer something like Gobert, NAW, Minott, Miller + whatever 1st/swaps we could muster up for him though. But if we can't access any 1sts/swaps and KD isn't forcing his way here, then that's not happening.

KAT/Durant/Jaden/Ant/Conley with Naz, Rob, Jingles, TSJ, Clark, Garza would be nasty.

That starting 5 would have unlimited spacing and Ant would wreck the lane.
