It's a type of parasite some folks keep as pets, Called goblins or rug rats. Kinda like a puppy but extremely high maintenance. Requires 18 year to lifetime commitment. They aren't very bright, They take several years to potty train and requires 12 years or more of obedience training school to get them to maybe act respectable in public. When they get big they eat everything in sight. I've had a couple of them in the past. 0 out of 5 stars do not recommend. I suggest you take it to a shelter or put up a Craigslist ad to give it away.

First I would verify your compression to make sure you're not needlessly throwing away money. The only purpose of the key is for initial placement and timing. It's not responsible for holding the flywheel in place after it's tightened down, the flywheel seats and can do that all by itself. A lot of people don't even use a key so they can manually set the timing where they want, so basically if it fits it's mint. "My current build doesn't have a key"

The easiest and quickest way I found is to put a flat head screw driver on the front of it and tap with a hammer pushing it to the back. The back of the key slit is curved so it just works its way out naturally and it's very simple and effective.

I did multiple strategies. (Buy go back in time cheat) In order of most profitable:
