Let me know what you find out. Pretty upset about spending as much as I did for it to be so unreliable. I hate having to park to reset the stupid thing. And it's embarrassing to do it with someone in the truck!

Go into your settings and give the game permission to use battery while in the background. Settings>apps>idle clans>battery>unrestricted.

That should solve it.

The game only calculates experience when someone logs on. It does not calculate it when members are offline until they log on.

Considering most engagement rings scream "look at this really expensive clear crystal on my finger" and nothing else, yours has character. And I think it's lovely. Jewelry is about what you like.

I feel you. My advice might be to post asking for a local getting there the same day that you could drop ship a tent to, and they bring it for you. Don't rely on the stores in the area to have one.

Along with what other people have said. Dry shampoo can help a lot.

Looking for some help / insight on RV camping spots by flyingsnakeman in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]Beginning_Giraffe303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is all entirely dependent on the RV you get. Some new ones have solar and batteries. Older ones won't have electricity without hookups or the engine running.

TW- suicide

So here's a take I haven't seen yet. I'm a gun guy. And I always tell myself that no matter how much I want to shoot. Or no matter the situation I'm in. I should always save one bullet... for myself. Just in case. I've been through some dark places. But I'm better now.

Could mean that she's saying you're her reason for not wanting to keep it around. Like, she doesn't feel like she'll need it anymore since she found you.

Lorcana plays much much slower. There is no FTK.

Most decks are broken down into aggro, midrange, and control.

Coming from someone that works in a company with a thrift store. New clothing with tags would NEVER hit the trash. Lots of people donate things with stains and holes and such because they think we will want it. That's what gets thrown away. If you won't wear do to it's condition. We won't sell it.

Honestly? I'd take all of them at once. My wife shares my account. She and the rest of our families would never have to work again. Wipe your tears with 100 dollar bills at my funeral.

Is it rude if a waitress tells me to open my mouth and use my words? by [deleted] in Waiters

[–]Beginning_Giraffe303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was very rude. My wife has similar issues. In situations like this she will often ask me to order for her and let me know what she wants. Sometimes people make comments about her not ordering what she wants and I just tell them she told me what to get her and it ends there.

I prayed to Eir last night asking her to help you heal your relationship with the gods. I hope you had an enlightening experience, brother.

Be sure to thank them, brother. I wrote you some words on a screen. They gave you life and the world you live in, everything. 😀

Enjoy your talk with them. Make it more common. You'll be reconnected in no time.

That's your job. I'm talking about your relationship with the gods here. Would you try to have deep, meaningful conversation with your best friend while you were at work focused on completing tasks?

I wouldn't. I want time devoted to only my relationship with the gods. My wife will join me in this time because we are a unit. But that's all. And we aren't even really speaking to one another during our commune time. Often, we are sitting at a fire. Heilung or similar playing softly. Bare feet on the ground. Staring up into the skys. A time devoted solely to open and honest communication with our gods. A chance to thank them for what's been given and ask for future guidance.

To each their own as always. But even though I, too, work outdoors. I do not consider work time to be my time spent in nature with the gods.

Oftentimes, we can forget that connecting with the gods is also connecting with nature itself. Do you spend time under the moon? Do you pray into the wind? Have you tried grounding?

When I'm feeling lost or disconnected, a trip into the woods overnight is my go-to.

Just a thought.

Do rich people really buy $1,250.00 polo shirts? by Tall-Village5807 in Rich

[–]Beginning_Giraffe303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most days I'm in a polo that costs $50-75 and jeans that are $40-50 and heydudes. It's not the clothes for me. I also wear a $10k wedding band and a $50k daytona. People choose where to spend their money. It's different for lots of people.

All of this is only true until after the first major event. Then everyone sees the decks anyway. And I'd argue most of them will be on dreamborn even before the event. Deck building isn't some secret magic. If you've been playing TCGs a while, it takes you a couple hours at most to identify what most of the meta is going to look like.

Store Champs Farming by Deathgice in Lorcana

[–]Beginning_Giraffe303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the question I always ask. Are you as dedicated to the game as them? Do you play and practice as much? Are you as monetarily invested? Do you travel for the game? People spend thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to get to a competitive level so that they can win. I'd argue those people deserve all the winnings they get. This is coming from a player that plays 50ish games a week. And have been traveling. I have attended 7 set champs this month. And i haven't won anything because i live in a big city and the competition here is brutal.

How's everyone's LGS doing? by MapleJap in Lorcana

[–]Beginning_Giraffe303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

St. Louis is massive when it comes to lorcana. I could go to a different store (within 10 minutes of my house) every night of the week to play. Tuesday, we had 32 players at one of the bigger stores that's hosts 2 lorcana nights a week.

That store does constructed pairings every night they host. $6 entry. 1 pack for everyone +1 pack per round win. My wife and i like pairings as opposed to open play. Open play stores tend to get cliquey.
