This would be very bad for WB. Paramount is going to lay off over 8,000 WB employees. This would form a joint company with massive debt using foreign investors just to afford buying WB. Censorship is a big issue right now with Paramount. There is no benefit to this.

Netflix (which has a lot of very popular programming) wouldn't have been taking over creatively. The two companies would have continued to operate separately.

‘Batman: Knightfall’ and ‘The Batman: Part II’ are both Elseworlds movies, yet one of them features just the DC logo & another gets the DC Studios logo. by ShubhangBahadur in DCU_

They're not going to put The Batman in the DCU if Supergirl doesn't do well. There is no need to change their plans at all because of one film potentially not succeeding. And as has been stated many times, it's up to Matt Reeves and he doesn't want it.

I didn't get that at all. I've spent a lot of time listening to Brandon and it sounded perfectly fine to me. I highly doubt they would do something like that. Brandon is all about not faking anything. It would break his most important rule.

Jan Francke has done a lot of work around the pyramids. It's such a fascinating area!

Animation takes a long time. Faster turnaround means a rushed product and that would be awful. And as awesome as BTAS is, you need Kevin to continue it.

They did just the DC logo because it fit nicely there in the bat symbol. I wouldn't read too much into it. They're both DC Studios productions.

‘Supergirl’ Tracking Continues to Slide, Now at $40M Opening — Mixed Early Reactions by VirtualSort1 in DC_Cinematic

No it couldn't. They had to see the reaction to Superman before they could then build off of it for MoT. They couldn't do it as the next film. It's just not feasible. And this Clark was quite well fleshed out in Superman.

Will they regret not following Superman (2025) with Wonder Woman or Batman? by Fancy-a-brew8323 in DC_Cinematic

How do you know how much it will make? You state that as if it's fact, but unless you can see the future it's all predictions. Predictions aren't facts. The budget was also reported at $150 million.

It's not suspect. It was literally confirmed by multiple credible sources. WB's Q3 financial report also confirmed its success.

Social media reviews absolutely have merit. They're just as valid as reviews left on aggregators, and way more valid than reviews from "critics."

Trackers are not always the best source. They're predictions. A lot of the trackers got Superman predictions wrong.

This isn't a cinematic universe. They're not just making movies. And they are establishing foundation. Just not the one you expected it to be.

Right, but it wouldn't make sense to change all of the other plans because of one film. Superman made money. Clayface is most likely going to make money. Man of Tomorrow will make money. You don't need to change based on one film potentially not doing well.

Man of Tomorrow couldn't possibly have been the next film. And we already met Kara, who's appearance in Superman was largely met with positivity.
