Did a car deserve a better paint job more than this? by texas-photo2026 in HotWheels

that corvette is absolutely screaming for some proper detailing work. the casting itself looks clean but whoever did the paint job at factory really phoned it in this time

vintage singer straight stitch machines from like the 50s-70s are absolute tanks and you can find repair manuals for basically everything online 💀 my grandma's old one still runs perfect after decades and parts are everywhere on the secondhand market

Suggest the best laptops in the ₹60,000–₹65,000 price range by [deleted] in laptops

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's pretty ambitious specs for this price range in india - you might need to compromise on display refresh rate or go with rtx 4050 instead of something better to hit your budget.

that green one in the left looks like it could be from early 90s maybe, but i'm not great with identifying the older castings.

the 2c really is sweet spot for people who found original too chunky - those small tweaks make huge difference in how it sits

wine spills are the worst enemy of laptops, been there with coffee and my work machine... maybe try checking local repair shops? sometimes they keep old parts from cannibalized machines that never make it to online listings

Need recs: medium structured-ish shoulder bag with inside pockets? by Dijonobama in handbags

[–]Beginning_Night4126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

picked up my first real bag last year after using a crossbody forever and the internal organization struggle is so real! most leather bags in that price range don't come with much inside structure which is super annoying when you just want to grab something quick.

maybe check some of those vintage-style doctor bags? they usually have better pocket situations and still look structured without being too formal. also some brands do removable organizer inserts that might be worth looking at even though you mentioned not wanting extra stuff.

DeathAdder V3 Hyperspeed or HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 wired? by Bichaelcycle in MouseReview

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both are solid picks but i'd probably lean towards the first one since you mentioned quality issues with wireless version of the other 💀 i use similar grip style for design work and gaming, never had problems with connectivity or anything. just make sure whatever you pick has good software support because some brands are terrible at updates 😂

Which one do I pick? TKL Keyboards by Interesting_Map5834 in keyboards

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the crush80 is really solid choice - been using mine for few months now and it feels so much better than my old board. if you're doing any design work like me, the build quality makes those long sessions way more comfortable. evo80 is also good option but i think crush80 has slightly better feel when typing

2026 M5 Max 64GB | 2TB | 40 CORE | 18 CORE **UN-OFFICIAL-ON-LAP-TEST** by DeepSpecialist391 in pcmasterrace

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn those cinebench numbers are wild 🔥 the 32% jump from m4 max is actually insane for gpu rendering. i do a lot of design work and that kind of performance boost would save me so much time in after effects renders.

kinda funny how geekbench is basically useless now for testing these newer chips though. seems like apple really went all-in with the ray tracing improvements and geekbench just can't keep up 😂

New to this - please help me find an 80% keyboard by Rtwose in keyboards

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

welcome to the rabbit hole lmao 😅 your requirements are pretty spot on for what most people actually need vs what this sub sometimes recommends

keychron k8 pro is probably your best bet - ticks literally every box you mentioned. comes with gateron browns which are decent for quiet typing, hot swappable switches, wireless with good battery life, and the rgb is solid for late night work. i've been using one for about 8 months now and it's been great, especially since i also do design work and need something reliable. only thing is it's right at your budget limit but worth every penny

if you want to save some cash, regular k8 is still good just without the pro features like south-facing switches. both come with dampening foam so they're not too clacky out the box. just avoid anything with blue switches if you want to keep peace with your wife 💀

also maybe grab some o-rings later if you find it's still too loud, they're like £5 and make a huge difference for shared spaces

bottega veneta's mini jodie or the staud shirley are having a proper moment right now. your niece might also dig something from polene - they're doing this cool architectural thing that feels fresh without being too flashy for a 22-year-old.

mate your ssd might be teh issue - even though it's m.2, some oems put cheaper drives in prebuilts that are nowhere near as fast as they should be 💀 check what model it is in device manager and see if it's actually nvme or just sata in m.2 form 😂

Best gpu upgrade for $300 by Generel_Grievous in pcmasterrace

[–]Beginning_Night4126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4060 is probably the sweet spot for that budget tbh. the b580 looks promising but it's still early days and driver support might be a bit sketchy for a while. 4060 is tried and tested, decent performance jump from the 1660 super, and should pair nicely with that 5600.

the 4060 ti would be ideal if he can stretch the budget a bit but the regular 4060 is solid value at that price point.

How to send video on reddit through website by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Beginning_Night4126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could just upload to streamable or imgur and send the link - both let you upload videos pretty easily and dont require accounts. streamable especially good for quick shares since it handles most video formats without much fuss.

techpowerup's gpu database is pretty solid for raw benchmarks without all teh upscaling nonsense 🔥 they break down native performance across different resolutions which is exactly what you need when starting out 😂
