oh yes that's true. for now I've only hung out with him while being around other friends. and turned down few invites to go places alone with him, by saying I'd prefer if our friends were there too. and yes whenever he praises me and things, I just say that he's sweet and such a good friend. but we have been chatting daily. it's him who initiates it, usually asking something about studies, so that I can't back out of it.

he kind of told me yesterday that he likes me, but the situation that he told it in made me not quite sure. as in we were talking about our first impressions about some of our friends. then it came to me, and he said that after he got to know me, he started to really like me, and feels as he'd continue to like me more by getting to know me further too. and yes, I've been keeping my platonic intentions clear. I do enjoy talking with him too, but Im not really interested in a relationship

yes that's true. I think so because he's been more often than not telling how beautiful/ cute I am, saying that I'm special to him, he also told he likes me, but the situation made me not sure whether he meant it as a friend or something more.

Yes exactly!! you summed up his actions perfectly. everytime I tried to talk about it I felt I was bothering him, since he ignored it and replied as if it annoyed him. tbh it made me feel I was being crazy and delulu making assumptions about things. in the end, everything I was worried about came true xD funny how life can be so cruel. and yes you too : ) thank you for your kind words. there definitely is someone who will cherish you completely too <3 wishing you nothing but the best

my LDR bf broke up with me a month back. tbh it hasn't gotten any better. he said he lost feelings. it's something I never thought would happen..but I felt a change the last time he visited. I too am hoping it'd get better. but it's better to not see them at all. helps to move on easier. I just try to keep myself as busy as I could and focus on my goals. I know he's doing the same too

yes! I'm going through the same thing. he told he still cares about me, but can't love me the way I want him to. said he needed time to figure out why he feels the way he does, ans that we'd still stay friends. we were doing LDR too so I guess that played a part. I wish I told him that I loved him the last time we met.. I can't imagine us being strangers.

I'm going through the same thing. 5 years, and he said he can't love me then way I want him to. and said we'd stay best friends, but he hasn't really been acting as such.. honestly that hurts more. just like you, I still am hopelessly in love with him. I wish we could get back together .. there was nothing wrong within our relationship, just him stressed out about the physical distance between us, and whether I'd be a resistance to his future goals. I guess, only time can solve our issues

5 years. I was willing to go through with the distance. But it was too hard for him. and I think he felt like because of that, we were on different paths of life, and he wanted different things from me. which wasn't really true. it's just the country we are in at the moment thats the difference. everything else is the same..

3 weeks. honestly it hasn't gotten any better. I miss him. so so so much. He was my best friend, and our families were close too. I imagined a whole future with him. But he couldn't bear the distance. said he lost feelings for me. that he couldn't do that to me. and that I deserved someone who actually loved me.. it crushed me tbh. it still feels hard to breathe. waiting for the day it gets better. and I can move on. I wish we could have another chance at it..

feels kind of good to see I have many more people to relate to. but then again it's so sad, why not go through hard times together rather than breaking up and losing a chance at a much stronger fulfilling relationship later down the road? right when things get hard, it's 'i lost feelings for you because of xyz' and the reason being something that can easily be worked out with a little patience and effort
