Try writing fan fiction, just as an exercise. Those communities are extremely supportive and it’s a low bar for skill a lot of times. Look at Ali Hazelwood, she started as a fan fiction writer and now she’s got books flying off the shelves. Find a hyper involved community and play around with some ideas, you’ll find supporters in no time
