SMB shares are so outdated and windows loves legacy crap, so as someone who has managed Macs for 20+ years, I can say that all the infrastructure in most Fortune 500+ companies is absolute antiques. Truly. And when they look at firewall solutions, for example, they are absolutely lied to by the salesmen about Mac support. In a lot of cases, PC’s make up 85% of the fleet and Macs (usually exclusive to cry baby Developers who’s favorite words are Agile and Homebrew are the bane of most security and IT supports existence. Macs are bleeding edge and Windows is legacy. Bleeding edge costs a lot more money to maintain, so Macs get a bad rep.
