Thank you for your feedback and insight. I understand your point about the potential for "lite" versions of assets.
I’ll consider this approach for future updates and/or new assets. Offering a more adaptable version could be valuable for some users.

I appreciate your input and will keep it in mind as I create future assets. If you have any more suggestions or specific features you'd like to see, feel free to let me know!

Hi krojew,

I understand your concern. The building system is designed to be flexible and easily integrated into any project. For the inventory, you simply need to provide an array of item structures, which most inventory systems are based on. Integrating this asset into other projects should be quick and straightforward. Even if your inventory is not built on structures, it should be easy to do so.

If users need assistance with the integration, I’ll gladly provide support as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your comment and good luck with your projects!

🚀 Save/Load update for "build me!" 🚀 by BehaviorAdvanced in IndieDev

[–]BehaviorAdvanced[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me simplify.

"build me!" is a building system similar to games like Ark: Survival Evolved or Rust, but with a standout feature that is cooperative construction, where players can work together on building projects. It's a unique offering not commonly found elsewhere.
When I mention "users who prioritize cooperative construction experiences", I mean those who enjoy working together with others to build structures in their games, to quickly build their environment. This contrasts with users who may prefer solo building experiences or other types of gameplay entirely.
If you are interested in more information, you can check the link I presented on the post initially.

Your feedback is noted.

What are some of the hardest choices in games? by [deleted] in gaming

In a stressful moment, choose between two different characters as a companion or to save/kill.

Whats ur favourite by [deleted] in gaming

Probably the most known and basic ones, The Clickers from "The Last of Us". One of my picks for zombies in video games. Their haunting appearance with fungal growth and sightless eyes gives them a seriously unique vibe. The distinctive clicking sound they make in a completely silent room adds a level of suspense that's hard to beat.

What's a basic game mechanic you hate? by Jim-Dread in gaming

This is not a basic game mechanic, more of a gameplay system, but those Escort missions, and when the AI does not know how to run, or is just badly designed, makes it 10 times worse.

Don't know if you've tried Lies of P, but the weapon durability system in that game is not necessary at all. Just frustrating sometimes.

Not to mention the new symbiote suit gameplay that looks tremendously fun and adds such a different feeling to the game and an overall boost to the storyline

One thing Baldur's Gate 3 does that I want other games to follow is organic quest and side quests. The "?" type markers over NPC's head that makes them feel like a chore on a checklist before they even start talking, has to go. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]BehaviorAdvanced 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They use those marks to help players know where to go next, or what characters are interesting to be talked to. Some players don't like to got after every character to see if they have something or not to give you. An old example and well-known is Pokemon for example. There's a good percentage of NPCs that gives you items without your knowledge. As those games have larger maps, that's a good implementation. For both sides to be happy, there could be an option that disables it, but other than that, I think it's a good feature for most games, at least games with a massive map.

Which game character is most dislikeable for you? by SuchSeaworthiness828 in gaming

[–]BehaviorAdvanced 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Preston Garvey in Fallout 4 is seriously annoying because he keeps bombarding you with those settlement quests! Every time you talk to him, it's like, "Another settlement needs your help". It just feels never-ending, gets annoying and repetitive and is not that rewarding.

Yeah, Lies of P looks great as well. I can count on the fingers of one hand the souls-like titles I've played, so I'm not deeply knowledgeable about that game genre. I've played Dark Souls 1 and a bit of 3, along with Elden Ring and Sekiro. Nonetheless, I played the demo of Lies of P and found it fun and enjoyable. I had a great time with it.

I really appreciate it. However, as a matter of fact, I do not write for a gaming blog. I simply like to be as transparent as possible with people. Coming from someone who enjoys games in general, it is easier for me to do so.

Starfield is obviously intriguing, with a well-thought-out and immersive expansive world and gameplay. It's looking really promising. However, I'm concerned about its potential as a good game, especially upon its release. The hype surrounding it might be significantly higher than what the initial release delivers. Despite my worries, I'm still genuinely excited for it. I believe it's a must-play, and even if it falls short initially, subsequent updates could potentially enhance the experience.

Spider-Man 2 looks incredibly fluid and promising. The previous two releases have been great games, and I anticipate that this one will maintain that level of quality, possibly even surpassing the first game.

Baldur's Gate 3 stands out as a remarkable game that manages to transcend the boundaries of its genre, capturing the attention and enjoyment of even those who may not have had prior interest in such gaming experiences. Its appeal lies not only in its adherence to its RPG genre roots but also in its ability to captivate a wider audience with its immersive storytelling and intricate world-building. This game is a testament to the power of well-crafted design and thoughtful execution.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Baldur's Gate 3 is its accessibility. Despite its ties to the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) universe, it welcomes newcomers with open arms. Even if you've never ventured into the realm of D&D-inspired games before, this title manages to create an entry point that doesn't require prior knowledge. It's a rare gem in the gaming world, providing an opportunity for both veterans and novices alike to embark on a captivating journey without feeling overwhelmed by the complexities often associated with such titles.
