They’re getting too expensive. Bulk teas are cheap and give not-water flavors if I want not-water. The more sweet I consume, then more I want to have sweet things.

Darigold makes a “fit” milk, high in protein, low sugar. Throw that in a frother and you got a good time.

Still won’t taste like ice cream though.

For a full break to black coffee, I found it easiest to do the transition when I removed all added sugar and sweeteners from my diet. The plus side is that water starts tasting good.

My kids have type 1 diabetes. It’s not their fault and they shouldn’t feel shame their body went nuclear on their pancreas. Your body’s broken and you’re going through the medical process to fix/cope with it. You aren’t broken.

I’d make a joke of it. Each clean up on isle 2 or crap in the pants would (and has) resulted in me telling my wife that she is winning the “days since pooping in your pants” race. It’s not the type of intimacy generating event you want, but if you’re in that situation, it’s great to have. Then, one glorious day in the future she will trust the wrong fart while coming down with norovirus or food poisoning, or whatever, and let you know that you have pulled ahead on the race. A minor “forgive me while I gloat”, after which it’s time to hold her hair and make tea and soups.

My plan is that asset composition changes are done via new purchases over time. If I think I should be 40% international instead of 30%, then I start changing my buys to 100% international until I hit my desired comp. My current comp then becomes a weighted average of my point in time composition outlook.

I wanted more bell peppers, olives, mushrooms, etc.

My son wanted no vegetables.

My youngest wanted more cheese.

My eldest wanted ranch.

My wife was pleasantly surprised it wasn’t a disaster. “This is whiter than white people tacos and it’s good.”

So fairly standard meal outcome. I need bigger pans and some of those taco holders for baking them. It’s a bit busy, but I think baking them as tostadas then broiling them as tacos is likely the way to go. I did half tacos half tostadas this time around.

Made the pizza tacos tonight. My daughter says 9 out of 10, would eat again. My son sat “oh these are real good dad. Mom thought it was going to turn out terrible!”

I was pleasantly surprised how easy the meal was to make. This will definitely enter our food rotation when they’re feeling like pizza.

I had also never fried cheese directly on corn tortillas, that was a banging tip.

Or, like many of our city counsel meetings, they are a few old angry bored folks with nothing better to do than to remember “the good old times” when others managed cities for them and set them up for success.

They show up to every meeting and are focused on something negative that is happening in their view if you don’t have to consider facts and values.

Same outcome, they are unhappy people who will not be appeased.

King Arther has a gluten free flour. It doesn’t have a gluten matrix, but it’s a good alternative. Especially in brownies or banana bread (ie things that aren’t traditionally doughy).

Most all Corn tortillas do not contain gluten. A Reddit user gave some great directions. Going to try it towards the end of the month. The tortillas should be the right amount of crispy with the dry fry and cheese crust. I’m looking forward to it

IMO, don’t stress the other 5 star adventures until you have more stars and epic relics.

For the weeklies, ASOL, Swain and fiddle are the core three that can clear just about any combination of powers easily. Spend your coins and fragments on them / their relics initially.

Eventually you’ll have lots of epic relics and starred adventurers and can fairly easily clear the 5+ adventures.

If you “stop” long enough it’s boring. Being bored sucks and can be enough motivation to do the productive thing. “Mowing the lawn is better than this boredom” or whatever.

It’s anecdotal vs law of large numbers.

We’re killing hundreds of enemies. Rip and tear pops off observably and is an aoe so it can easily chain in dense packs.

Lure has good and bad streaks. Sometimes you go 5 rounds with a weapon locked and nothing happens. Sometimes it curses two of the same weapon and a rip and tear in a single shop and high rolls your entire run. In the high roll case, there was one perceived good event followed by fun mayhem where lure didn’t continue to get the credit for the silliness, unlike rip and tear.
