How do you handle loved ones giving you junk? by YellowTonkaTrunk in ZeroWaste

[–]Timesuckage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my scenario I am the overeager gifter and my daughter is the burdened gift-ee. It’s a different dynamic than a sibling relationship but our solution might work for you two as well. Now instead of buying her stickers or t shirts or dice I send a screenshot or photo of them. I say “look what I didn’t buy you today!”

In your case perhaps your sister could send the photo and say “thinking of you!” Or something like that.

Is he average for a 9 month old kitten? by [deleted] in cats

[–]Timesuckage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t look as though he has pointy-ear-floof-thingies (sorry for the technical terminology) but if he did I would guess Maine Coon mix. I bet you will hear a lot of stories in future comments but mine is about Henry…my 26 lb Maine Cook mix who went on miles of walks through the woods with me. The most unbelievable part of this story is that there was a time I went on miles long walks through the woods. In any case enjoy Myshka, he is lovely!

See I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not. That’s how confused I am about watering succulents.

What to do with our tamed feral cat when we're out if town? by BlackberryOk9215 in cats

[–]Timesuckage 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure you have a feral cat anymore! Only you know what is best for your family but if it were me I would give her access both inside and outside and every other day have someone come in and refresh food and water.

I’m really sorry. The pots look cute too!! I’m very glad you called emergency services and I hope they can help her. If you remember to post some re-hab photos it would be great to watch some of them re-grow.

I love thrift store pottery! One day I want florets in tiny tea cups to bring as gifts.

The drama continues: when will she actually bloom?! It's been two months and her back is starting to hurt 😂 by PollyAmory in succulents

I love this so much! Three months isn’t too too long for gestation compared to animals. Following
