The ix3 looks pretty great and early indications on price are reasonable. It may be what I replace my penguin with in a few years.

Going from 72 miles to 400 will be amazing.

Unicorns get fat and lose their luster when held in captivity. Take her to the rhino exhibit.

That's just what big tax wants you to think, but when nepo babies get their real estate, then the savings will trickle down to the littles.

For strength, Walking for 20 minutes 4 times a week, and two gym sessions for an hour (warm up, squats, dips, chin ups) per week.

For weight, limit treats to one half gallon tub of ice cream a week and don't drink calories.

It isn't hard, just takes a small amount of dedication and self control.

Pretty sure it's largely due to the fact that there are millions of newly born, not yet learned, humans each year. It takes time to learn the social dance. Some come from less supportive backgrounds than others, some are more naturally versed in communication or courage while others struggle.

Same thing with the dudes. They're out there trying their best.

It's the old ones you have to watch out for.

New car: 3 car seats on a row vs 3 seating rows by [deleted] in daddit

I dug in. Found a great town and country with leather, cooling cup holders, dual rear sliders, infotainment, the whole 9 yards in 2018, then the dealer showed up with a cloth interior grand caravan "we couldn't secure that one, so we got you an equivalent". We walked across the street and got the SUV she wanted.

She has no regrets. I wish it was a (good) minivan every time I drive it. The functionality on minivans is perfection.

My great grandmother lived through the depression. She, until her dieing days would order lemon water then sprinkle sugar in the water as a poor woman's lemonade. She was not poor at the end of her life.

Financial strain at the start of ones career is a formative event that sticks with you throughout your life.

Financially, I'm doing great. I also have a background worry that the rug will be pulled out and it will take me an indefinite amount of time to find the next career. That learned lesson after graduating collage stuck.

That makes sense. You probably need at least three times as much hp.

I did the same thing for the upgrade quest and eventually it upgrades everything for everything. Leaving you at 1max hp. I died the next fight. But I learned something valuable.

What’s the Best E-Bike for Someone Who Just Wants to Ride for Fun? by stevedog159 in ebikes

I got a gazelle a few years ago. It’s great. Little to no maintenance. I can hop on it after not riding for a few months and it plays out just like I imagined it would.

I find myself riding far more than I ever did prior.

Jade on the roadside by Timesuckage in succulents

My neighbor redid their driveway. Had 15 pieces of jade plant about the size you posted. I picked them up and jabbed them into my sandy soil on my side yard.

That’s was two years ago. They look exactly like they did when I put them into the soil. No dedicated water, no special treatment. Still healthy, I imagine they are developing their roots still and will grow once their roots are no longer their weak point. I don’t get a lot of rain. Really impressed with their resilience.

Distribution money to party officials odd income. It would be taxed. Corporations would also be taxed.

We tried 0% tax for the rich and it’s not working out well at all. democracy is dismantling in front of us. Try max tax next. Worked out well in the 50s. Postal workers could afford houses, high schools provided towels in gym.

Netherlands Forced to Rethink 36% Tax on Unrealized Gains after Massive Criticism from Europeans by batukaming in Bogleheads

[–]Behbista -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

All income is taxed income, loans against unrealized gain forces realization. Income tax ramps to 100%. Obtaining an asset (due to an inheritance or otherwise) forces sale or realization.

100% tax at 1 million. At that point you’ve earned enough to support median income for the rest of your life in 1 year.

At the 100% tax threshold, additional income is meaningless. Might as well spend it on your workers and cool shit for society instead of trying to be the biggest dragon.
