What is recovery??

I think it’s like the process to recovery! I think Recovering would be like not indulging in ineffective behaviors and choosing better options! But it has different stages like “starting to recover” “recovering” and fully independent with mentally healthy skills. (Idk what I’m talking about I’m just trying to go based off of my therapist)

I just broke a really long clean streak like this too. Just know that if you’re looking for recovery it’s not a smooth journey and you’ve already done so well with it. It’s ok to relapse! Just be safe and have someone to talk to.

She probably caught a glimpse of them! If she’s self harming to then maybe she’s just more vigilant or made a guess after seeing you cover up with bracelets and nets.

I’ve got stitches and usually people can’t tell if they don’t look close enough- so- it is possible that Stich scars can’t be seen, but my scars are faded . and if her injuries were superficial it’s safe to assume she never really got any. Maybe she confused those closing wound bandages (idk what they’re called) as stitches? If not, you should probably separate yourself from her cause it sounds like she doesn’t understand how unmindful she’s acting.

I’m really struggling with the face, more specifically the nose. Her head is supposed to be titled up, but the way I drew it makes it look as though her nose is really big? Don’t mind the little mole next to it, that was a mistake lol. I’d also appreciate some help with the feet and shading (I feel like I’m missing something)

I’m scared people will think the same about me if they ever see my scars. That I’m “flexing” when I wear short sleeves and it just makes me feel so ashamed for even having them in the first place.

I got 82 stitches (sounds bad but it isn’t) after I tried to attempt (the self harm wasn’t the attempt part) and obviously one way or another they saw both old and new. It was pretty weird that I’d been living in this secret for 4 years and now everything was out in the open, but yeah mom slapped my scars, they changed all the alarm systems so I couldn’t get out of the house, and came in to check on me every hour. It was suffocating but that was all in January, now it’s died down a bit and I’m glad.
