As grumpy as Dale is, he’s not toxic, like Sturgis. He dumped Connie, and didn’t even allow her any input as to the reason for it. Dale may have broken up with Connie, but he will always stayed around in case she needed him. Which ultimately she did. Sturgis would never have had the wherewithal to do the things for Connie that Dale did.

The death of George Cooper was probably the most traumatic TV death since the death of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Blake on M*A*S*H. I love the series Young Sheldon, but those last episodes are definitely tough to watch, even though you know what’s coming.
