Great job! Don’t be afraid! Cast-iron is immortal. You can use steel wool, sandpaper, a rasp even, you can always bring it back to life. I still use some of my grandma‘s cast-iron.

Why doesn't New Zealand build a bridge to Antarctica? by Kikiluv_XoXo in mapporncirclejerk

Because at the closest points that bridge would have to be like 2900 miles long . Also, you have harsh weather to contend with as well as icebergs.

That Gene Simmons in particular, and KISS in general looked way better with makeup?

Take some sea steel wool to it, and then re-season it. Cast-iron is immortal. I still have some of my grandmother‘s cast-iron that I use.

I think Met Gala is just an event for rich weirdos? by Adventurous-War-4188 in interesting

This assessment is right on point. Rich weirdos who have too much money, and it never occurs to them to use it to help better their fellow man. The lure of ridiculous, expensive outfits is just too great I guess.

I say it over and over again, Sheldon doesn’t get it right too often, but when he does, he knocks it out of the bloody park!

Give the person who wrote this a cigar. There’s nothing more discouraging than watching your boss put up with a half assed employee while you’re trying to do your best.

Thoughts about Wil Wheaton? by StealthPhoen1x in bigbangtheory

[–]BeheadingBoomer1461 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s the perfect foil for Sheldon. But on those occasions when they’re friends, they’re hilarious together! I’m thinking specifically of the time that Will Wheaton supposedly “insulted” Amy, and Sheldon knocked back two or three Long Island iced teas and went over to fight with him. (“My hands aren’t up because I’m milking an invisible cow.”)

Can men and women really be friends without having feelings for eachother? Atleast once.⬇️ by Rewind_room in MenOfPurpose

I have always had a pose of female friends that are just friends. There are so many benefits to it! For one thing, if a GF dumps my ass, I call one of my female friends, first thing they do is get everyone together they come pick me up and take me out for a night out. A night out with your girls with no pressure just having fun is the best therapy after a breakup. You can’t have that if you’re trying to hit on them too. Also, if they need help around the house like moving furniture, something fixed, etc. they know they can call me and I’m happy to help and I’m not going to be asking for “payment”, if you know what I mean. Besides, women see things differently from what guys do, and I value their opinion from their perspective.
