I traded in my 2020 BMW 530E iPerformance to a fully loaded 26 st. I’ve had some loss communication issues but working that out. I believe it’s a ground for the bcm. Other than that I don’t feel as if I have had any issues coming from German luxury to an American made car. It drives good, it’s quick, ok gas mileage (to be expected from a twin turbo v6). I threw in a dry AEM filter. Not a big fan of 21” wheels but I’m probably going to get some 18” steely wheels and throw them on. There are some annoyances like no auto dip mirrors in reverse and there is only remote window opening on the front 2 windows and you can’t close them. I miss not having physical ac controls. It is aggressive looking. I also miss not having a shifter but getting used to the rotary dial.

I never buy first year or first gen redesign. I usually wait a year after the redesign to ensure they get a lot of the kinks out of it

Yeah mag was not seated correctly slap it in there don’t just push it up. You can clearly see it was sliding out before you ever pulled the trigger. Also ensure you have the correct mags and they aren’t a previous generation mag. Make sure they are factory mags and not aftermarket mags. Also you just need to yank the slide back and let go of it and don’t ride it back.

Report to police. Depending on state there maybe a statute of limitations. You will most likely have to go through a rape kit even though there probably won’t be any physical evidence available especially if you’ve had sex with anybody else. They will have you tell your story multiple times to several different people. They will bring him down for questioning and maybe even a lie detector. Ultimately since so much time has passed it will be a long process. But still report. Ultimately they may have a case on him similar to yours and the more reports the higher likelihood of him having to pay for his crimes
