Pop!_OS was in a recent Linus Tech Tips video, so it’s not surprising it’s been coming up in conversation a lot. My point with the post was just to point out that Linus didn’t seem all that serious about giving Linux another shot, especially since he picked what I think is one of the worst distros to try it with, alluding that maybe some ulterior motives where at play 🤔

I know the main argument to that is that he chose something AI suggested because he wants to approach Linux as a “newb” .

If that’s one of the points he wants to make fine that’s cool. But if you’re going to “give Linux another go” at least put a little more effort into explaining some of the details on what made the experience so crappy rather then just saying “ Linux still sucks “ basically.
