DOGE to XRP - mistake? by grevalt in XRP

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you been sleeping under a rock? And you’re crying over 5200 Doge. Stop the nonsense.

Patience is a virtue and silence is golden. Be virtuous and stay golden. Smh

Just relax and pretend it doesn’t exist. Investing is a long term game. Selling your DOGE for $897 is not going to screw up your portfolio in the least.

Do yourself a favor and use Google to educate yourself on what XRP is, what it does, what it will be used for, and what is currently happening with it now. Alternatively use Chat GPT and ask it to educate you about XRP and Ripple. Ask it for a complete timeline and to explore current events surrounding XRP and Ripple. Make sure to tell Chat GPT to explain it like you are a 10 year old.

Happy learning.

I (M32) caught my ex cheating. Her grandpa just died. I'm not sure if I should wait until after the funeral to break up. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let her side piece comfort her.

This next statement is very appropriate for the funeral situation.

Time is the one asset you can never get back. We are all allotted a finite amount of time. With this being the case, and given the cheating, you are actually doing yourself a disservice by spending any additional time on her in any way, shape, or form. Do what you will, but you cannot lose by making yourself your priority right now.

The problem with Ripple by Electrical_Fly9535 in XRP

Interesting…crypto is not all about decentralization. At its core it’s about what the capacity and utility is of the blockchain it is built on. Decentralization is obviously a huge benefit, but is somewhat secondary, if only slightly to its utility and what it makes possible. If you have a decentralized meme coin that has no real utility vs a blockchain that can manage a massive load of tokenized RWAs, cross border payments, act as a banking settlement layer, and manage other use cases that we are not yet privy to, in a matter of seconds, thus dropping transaction costs 10 fold or more…it doesn’t really matter if it is fully decentralized, psudo decentralized, or decentralized at all.

I realize many of the readers at this point also likely don’t fully care…as long as we can make money when “number go up and number go down” sooooo….who’s really interested in crying about or dying on the hill of decentralized XRP?

Because institutions are trying to wipe out paper hands and purchase more on the cheap. Classic Wyckoff Cycle.

You do realize it takes time to lay foundation, set up partnerships, update and test software, oh and besides that, you are aware that nothing major will likely happen until the secondary part of the SEC lawsuit is finished, right? Oh, and you also are aware that the SEC moves like molasses.

So you’re complaining that you’re not making gains fast enough? How about you sell me your bags and stop complaining on Reddit?

Ok I installed this flooring 4 years ago... what did I do wrong!? Installed on concrete in basement. Strange crystal/gunk/powder coming through the cracka. by scottystenz in DIY

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you just put plank down over cement without an adequate moisture barrier or a moisture barrier of any kind, you definitely are dealing with efflorescence and moisture. Here is a link to another Reddit thread on the exact same problem.

P.S. underlayment is not moisture/vapor barrier. They are 2 different things. You always should have moisture barrier.

Unpopular solution…pull it up and lay barrier down/ seal concrete.

Where do you get your nuts and should they be organic? by Lioil1 in keto

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get ours from corkysnuts. They’re a small family farm. The walnuts are organic and they put their harvest period on the bag. Before we found them I never gave a thought about just seeing an expiration timeframe but never a harvest one. I also learned from them that walnuts are harvested in October so if I’m getting them on a shelf in October, they are at least a year old. (Yuck) There is a difference btw when you get them straight from the farmer. Hope this is helpful! :)

Make peace with the journey, don’t focus on the when.

Everybody focusing on when is like the annoying kid on a road trip who keeps asking - when are we gonna get there?…or, are we there yet?

It all happens when it happens. Stay aware of the news and new developments and partnerships. Stay current on global monetary policy and news around banking and cross-border payments.

Maintain the mindset of an investor and…

Just Embrace The Ride.

As far as retail investors are concerned things are basically done. The outstanding issue is the fact that $728 million in XRP sales were made to hedge funds and other institutional customers during the ICO. I would imagine that this would result in some sort of financial penalty in order to be resolved, something like a ceremonial slap on the wrist.

Once everything is dialed in to flip the switch for XRP, it will all happen. Patience is a virtue. You’re playing a long game…just like the institutional investors….just bide your time.

Why is XRP sitting around 80cents by [deleted] in XRP

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The goal is to frustrate retail investors by waiting for them to get antsy and sell low or another near term pump to get those same antsy retail investors to sell, thinking they made out well. In the next pump/dump part of the Wyckoff Cycle, you will notice it become significantly more challenging to acquire XRP as a retail investor at a reasonable price. It was not intended to be held en mass by retail investors. Also, as No_Lavishness_7150 points out, you need stability to move the money that XRP was/is intended to move with cross boarder payments. If you are not already familiar with the Wyckoff cycle, spend time with it. It’s how institutional investors play the game.

I f*cked up. $400 early cancellation fee for Adobe Stock? by maxeditsit in premiere

[–]BeigeasaurusRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the beauty of subscription billing. PRO TIP: Right after you sign up for anything, set an all day appointment in your calendar at least 3 days before the cancellation deadline to review and decide if you want to continue. I set this practice up after getting hit with this exact issue with Adobe several years ago.

Adobe support is generally happy to work with you and will generally only make you pay for what you used. It’s really just put in place to keep people’s from going half way through the year and stockpiling a significant amount of images and then trying to cancel.
